Since 2001, I had dealt primarily with the service team for scheduled maintenance on my former 2001 VW Beetle purchased elsewhere. When traded recently, my 2001 Beetle had close to 200K miles on it and was still performing well which is not only a tribute to the brand, but the service team as well. I would like to point out that since Mark Cohen became the GM, I noticed a significant change and improvement upon how the customer is treated when visiting his dealership. Matt Hettel exhibited superb product knowledge in acquainting me with the features and operation of my 2013 VW R-Line Beetle. He willingly programmed the car radio and navigation system thereby eliminating the step by step procedures I would have had to follow using the owner's manual. In a nutshell, the car was completely prepped and ready in all aspects for ME the new owner. It doesn't get any better than this! More
I purchased my first car at Volkswagen of South Charlotte earlier this week and just let me say that I can't imagine having a more satisfying customer experience. Ramsey Anabtawi was my sales consultant and earlier this week and just let me say that I can't imagine having a more satisfying customer experience. Ramsey Anabtawi was my sales consultant and he was such a pleasure to work with (and look at! ;-) ). From the outset of meeting, Ramsey listened closely to my wants and needs. My CAR wants and needs, that is! (Get your minds out of the gutter, people! ;-) ) He clearly wasn't concerned with selling me the newest, most expensive car (I test drove one of those), but rather the best car (solution) for me (which is what I ended up with). Ramsey also wasn't in a hurry; he took the time to meet, listen and answer all of my questions. The dealership's sales manager and finance manager were equally committed to getting me in the car I wanted at a price I could afford. Having already spoken with Ramsey and a few other folks at the dealership several times since making my car purchase, I'm also convinced that this relationship isn't going to be a one-night stand. Rather it seems that my purchase was just the beginning of what will be a long-term, committed relationship between me and Volkswagen of South Charlotte. I cannot recommend them highly enough...especially that Ramsey! I recently purchased a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta for my son and actually found out that there are true customer friendly dealerships still out there. Ralph Blum, sales representative, is an absolutely fantastic salesperson! He never pressured us into anything, he worked diligently to get us the price we wanted and got it. Then it was time for the dreaded finance manager, so I thought. Moe Asmar, finance director, was outstanding. He didn't pressure you into anything you didn't want, he explained everything that needed to be explained to us. What a great dealership! In all my interactions with this dealership their behavior was friendly, professional, and without evidence of pressure. While I was well prepared for the negotiation, their demeanor throughout was courteous and again without pressure to complete a deal. My sense was that they were genuinely concerned that each of us was satisfied with the final contract. I was very pleased with the conduct and knowledge of my primary salesperson (David Brown) and with the management personnel that I came into contact with. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others. More

He made absolute sure I was completely knowledgeable of the product I was considering (Touareg) and genuinely gave me as much of his time as I needed.
