I was happy to find the dealership open on Sunday. When my daughter and I entered the lobby was pleasant and everyone was very nice. We had to wait for a sales person but not for very long. What a really nice guy. He listened to what I was looking for made some suggestions. We made a couple of test drives, ran some numbers. Negotiations were painless. He came back one time I did not except the offer, the manager immediately came out and we made a deal. It was simple, no going back and forth, very painless. The finance director Moe Asmar really new his stuff. This was really the best experience I've ever had buying a car. Not to mention the free tshirt!! We were there pretty late and kept these guys way past closing. Not one person complained. They were all so nice and polite the whole time. Thanks guys!!!! More

This is my second VW from South Charlotte VW and wont be my last.. I have total 3 VW's of over my whole driving years and love them all. I got a 2013 VW GLI Autobahn and I never had a dealership give me a n my last.. I have total 3 VW's of over my whole driving years and love them all. I got a 2013 VW GLI Autobahn and I never had a dealership give me a new car to use till my car I chosen came in .. Now that is outstanding!!. My trade-in car was a 2008 Jetta SE certified vehicle and never had any issues with it that were major.. The service dept is amazing and fast! Mike your a great salesperson. You will go far since your have great customer service skills and knowledge..I receive a great trade in quote for my former car. I decided to lease then buy and that was good decision. I was Nathan's first customer. He was very excited to help me upgrade my car to a new 2013. He was nothing but a gentleman and a class act. He was patient and understanding to my needs and request. Not once did I feel pressured to do anything i didn't want to do. He walked me thru the process and if he didn't have the answer, wasn't afraid to ask. Nathan made me feel at home and comfortable with the possibilities of trading my 2011. because of his professionalism, kindness, and personal interest in me, I confirmed my decision to trade up. This is a young man VW of South Charlotte needs to keep. He is teachable and willing to learn. That is so important. Was looking for a new car and considered both the Ford Fusion and the VW Jetta. I went to the Ford Dealer first (full disclosure - I own 2 cars through this Ford dealer) and - after reviewing all of the Fusion and the VW Jetta. I went to the Ford Dealer first (full disclosure - I own 2 cars through this Ford dealer) and - after reviewing all of the options - decided to review the Jetta. I clearly explained to Ramsey what my requirements were and my price points. He brought forth a number of options and models. It was clear that dollar for dollar, I was getting more car over the Fusion and Ramsey and the VW South Charlotte dealership made the purchase experience easy. I highly recommend this dealer and Ramsey as an excellent sales consultant. More
Poor quality of service experienced, after having bought a 2013 Passat TDI SEL the day before! I returned to the dealership the next day because 1 of 2 keys I've been issued was defective. They had me wait a 2013 Passat TDI SEL the day before! I returned to the dealership the next day because 1 of 2 keys I've been issued was defective. They had me wait for 2 hours while they "looked into it" just to come back to tell me, "yes, this is a bad key". Extremely disappointed with the service department which unfortunately made me wish I didn't buy from this dealership in the first place. To waste my time with something as simple as letting me know something is not working when they issued me the defective key in the first place is a poor reflection of their service and really screams INCOMPETENT for a dealership that sells a high end product. Imagine, watching 6 other customers walk-in and walk-out while you're patiently waiting and in the end have nothing to show for your visit but a "we'll order a new one, it will be here in a few days, you can come pick it up". A waste of time and poor reflection of Volkswagen as a whole! Would like to be contacted in regards to this visit from the dealership. More
When I visited VW of South Charlotte I has not intending on purchasing a vehicle that day, but to just check available inventory, get some prices and weigh my options. Being a pastor I am looking for the best vaule and honesty about the product of what I can expect. I had already had a bad experience in the previous antomoblie that I drove in cost of vehicle and cost of maintaining and operation. I did not get what I had hoped for on my trade, but I did get what I consider "fair". Mike Hoyt worked hard to get me all that he could and his friendliness and helpfulness is what sold the vehicle. I got what I was looking for and by all indications I should now have a cost efficient and dependable VW Jetta TDI to use in ministering to precious people. I as well had several options of financing but Zach was so helpful and efficient that I made the choice to use their in house financing. I am looking forward with good expectations, thank you Mike and Zach, VW of South Charlotte should consider themselves fortunate to have you two as part of their team. More

Since the early '80's I have purchased new, 2-Mits, 3-Fords, 3-GMs, 1-Lincoln, 1-Dodge, 1-Toyota, and now a VW. I don't care to deal with "no haggle" dealerships. That red price tag in the window is 3-Fords, 3-GMs, 1-Lincoln, 1-Dodge, 1-Toyota, and now a VW. I don't care to deal with "no haggle" dealerships. That red price tag in the window is a guarantee you won't get the best deal. The typical new car buying experience includes bait and switch, shuffle the numbers in the contract process then act stunned and confused when challenged, and of course "what will it take to get you in this car today". None of which is present at VW of South Charlotte. Mike and Patrick were straight forward with the numbers, what we discussed is what was on the paper work, they negotiated fairly and honestly, and I'm satisfied with the results. The sales team wants to sell cars, but there's no arm twisting. I was offered and took an extended test drive, typically dealers only want to drive you around the block. They are knowledgeable about their products, (I hate it when I know more about the product being sold than the saleman.)and accomodating to my request. I just hope the quality of the vehicle will be up to the standards of the dealership. Time will tell. More
