Excuses Nov. 20 2019. Took my new 2019 trail boss z71 in for its first oil change and for them to check my brakes because every morning I back out of my drive Nov. 20 2019. Took my new 2019 trail boss z71 in for its first oil change and for them to check my brakes because every morning I back out of my driveway they squeak bad. 2.5 hours later I request the service manager to go out and give me an update. He comes back in and says there’s bad news. First he said there’s nothing they could do about the brakes squeaking. GM has had a problem with them since the early 90’s. Told him that’s not possible because I’ve been driving GMC’s and Chevy’s since the early 90’s. Then he explained that they tried fixing a recall that I wasn’t aware of on my seatbelts and found a leak. My carpet was completely soaked underneath. Couldn’t fix the recall until they pull my carpet and inside trim to figure out where the water is coming in. So he tells me he’d give me a vehicle and they could have me back in my ride by Friday. the 22nd. Call Friday for an update and couldn’t get no one to respond. At 3pm I was told they all left. Called back the next day and after several tries I finally spoke with the new acting service manager Tiffany. She said that they ordered new carpet for my truck and didn’t have an ETA as to when it will arrive. Said it could be 2 days or a month. Told her a month is unacceptable. Called back Monday and after several attempts I got her back on the phone and she had quite an attitude. Knowing I wasn’t going to get anywhere and no sight of getting back into my ride I ask if the issues were fixed and is my carpet dry enough to put back in. She said she’d call me back in 10 minutes. Hour later I had to call back cause I was on to their xx by then. She said yes it’s dry. Told her to put my truck back together and when the carpet comes in to phone me and I’d pick it up. Said she couldn’t do that. This is just a light overview of the aggravation I went through on this. I could write 10 pages. Volume service techs are good people but the service advisor and manager need to be more respectful and knowledgeable. They also need more help in the front. More
