Had to get service done for an EVAC leak with Volvo Bellevue. Jorge was very communicative and helpful explaining the priority of the fixes and hooked me up with a loaner. Parts department was honest. Service department was a nightmare!! My radio went out on my 2007 Volvo. I called Bellevue Volvo parts and they said the radio is no longer avai Service department was a nightmare!! My radio went out on my 2007 Volvo. I called Bellevue Volvo parts and they said the radio is no longer available; you might be able to get a used one but it might need to be programmed to the car. I appreciate the honest information! I got a used radio and it powered up but did not show any radio options. I called Service and they said they could program it even though the radio was discontinued. I asked if I would be charged if they could not program it. They said they would not charge me. So I brought the car and handed over the keys. A few hours later I was informed that they tried to program the radio twice but the radio would not work (same symptoms). They charged me $350 and said they reduced the labor costs because the dealership purchased the reprogramming software twice. I told them the charge was excessive and was willing to pay half the bill. They would not reduce the charge. It cost me $350 to get no value except the knowledge that the Service department is a rip off. More
