BUT he was friendly positive and listened to my explanation (and my attempt at recreating the sound the car was making!) of the issue with interest and concern. Each and every time we have serviced our car at this dealership, they have consistently treated us with respect throughout the whole process, starting with the receptionist, service rep, mechanic, and then cashier. Jud was extremely conscientious and professional about keeping us informed (via phone calls) along the way about the progress of our work and any delays that might be expected. The fact that he was upfront about "unexpected" delays as soon as they were discovered allowed me to adjust my schedule as needed. These are the qualities that we have grown to expect when dealing with the Tempe Volvo dealership and why we will always be loyal customers. Thanks again for making it such a pleasant experience! I live in Tempe but bought my 2007 S80 at Volvo of Phoenix simply because they had the car for which I was looking. I had been to the service department at Volvo of Phoenix a couple of times since buy Phoenix simply because they had the car for which I was looking. I had been to the service department at Volvo of Phoenix a couple of times since buying the car and they were adequate but did not offer the experience I was looking for. At Volvo of Tempe I experienced communicative, warm, friendly staff who seemed interested in being certain that they had all the information needed to serve me completely and correctly. It was nice to have questions asked and answers actually heard. Jeff, my service consultant, was sincere, professional - yet relaxed, and knowledgeable. He not only made certain he understood why I was there but also explored further to see if there may be any other issues that may need their attention. While I did not meet the service techs who actually did the work - they have my thanks too for a job done correctly and without any visible clues that any work had been done!
