After arriving at Ravenna Volvo, I realized I actually made my service appointment at Seattle Volvo. The service rep at Ravenna Volvo said he would work my service in the day's schedule so I didn't have made my service appointment at Seattle Volvo. When I requested, he also provided a loaner car without my making a prior reservation for it. These accommodations were all made in a friendly supportive manner. More

Brian in the Service Department, along with Ravenna's senior managers, have gone to extraordinary lengths to solve a particularly difficult situation with my 2004 Volvo T-5. I moved to Seattle nine years ago and have been with a dealership in Bellevue, Washington but when my problem was presented to them it fell on deaf ears. That's when I made an appointment with Byers Ravenna. They have placed my concerns above their needs and have been truly remarkable. I am their newest client and champion of their dealership. My experience started with great follow up from an email. All the other dealers I talked to wanted me in the showroom before answering the simplest questions. Dick Krause was different. He responded to my questions in an upbeat honest way. Not once did I feel pressured or like a number. I did a lot of online research and Volvo was in my top three. Although there was another dealer close to me I drove to Ravenna because I knew theses were the type of people I wanted to do business with. I ended up buying the car after about an hour of talking and test driving. Volvo got sexy all if a sudden and it's a xxxx of a buy when you compare similar classes. I also loved that my insurance went down 20% from my BMW. If you want a neighborhood feeling car dealer that takes their time with you and doesn't pressure you playing the "game" go to Bob Byers. for $2.00 they fixed one my dvd players that another dealership told me had to be completely replaced. an oil change, new wiper blades all around, a replaced fuse, a replaced tail light bulb, a tighte dealership told me had to be completely replaced. an oil change, new wiper blades all around, a replaced fuse, a replaced tail light bulb, a tightened handle to my booster seat, all for under $100.00, and i can use one of their cars to run around town. no one can beat that deal. this is the 3rd time i have visited in the last year and they always take care of me. Ravenna Volvo had all our info on file, which made bringing the car in for it's 7500 mile service very good. Price seemed a little high, but quality work. The prices I was quoted to replace the gas bringing the car in for it's 7500 mile service very good. Price seemed a little high, but quality work. The prices I was quoted to replace the gas cap and replace the battery were very high, so we won't be using Ravenna Volvo for those services (to replace gas cap we were quoted $45, we bought our own gas cap for $10 and put it in ourselves. Will do the same for new battery which was a recommended service). Also I'm not sure what is supposed to be included as far as cleaning, but only the front floor mat areas were vacuumed, the back were not touched. That is my only real complaint, overall happy with the service. More
