Do Not buy a used car at Volvo of the Triad WS, NC! My wife & I- a retired couple were looking for a reliable second car at a good price. We found a used car at this dealership. The service manager, Ra My wife & I- a retired couple were looking for a reliable second car at a good price. We found a used car at this dealership. The service manager, Ralph, called to confirm the car had been " thoroughly checked" and was in great mechanical condition. Also, it had the dealers " 200 point check up" and all was positive. After signing all the paperwork, but prior to paying, we insisted we take the car to our own trusted mechanic. We met our salesperson at our mechanics shop. When the car was raised on his lift, oil was dripping from everywhere! Long story short, repairs would be $3000-$5000 minimum!! it is beyond my belief that a dealership could be this unethical. The sales manager, Les, was so positive about all the "check points" being positive. Even more difficult to comprehend, is a service manager (Ralph) out right lying about the mechanical condition of the car. I am so thankful we did not purchase this vehicle prior to having our mechanic check it out. My advice, look elsewhere for a car. And Volvo of WS, NC- you should be ashamed for condoning such deception! More

I came in that morning to look at XC90s for my wife, brought her back that afternoon and she looked at the XC90, XC60, and S90. John’s patience with us, recommendations, and treating my wife like she was just as important, if not more, compared to the sales staff at Crown really spoke volumes and is what also lead to us pulling a trigger and buying a car same day from John. Purchased used car Requested information via internet about used car Received information through text by a salesman seemed nice and informative. Came to drive car liked and to make a long story short came to a deal for purchase all the time the salesman tried to tell me that someone else was interested even went so far while we were in the sales cubicle to have someone get the keys. I hate that kind of sales tactic so I left and s told salesman that if the other interested party did not purchase car to contact me. Before we got home we had settled again on a price and I have my own financing and my finance people will contact him Monday Again to make a long story short, I told my salesman that I would pick up car Wednesday suddenly he had a vacation planned and I had to deal with another salesman that apparently new nothing about my intent to purchase and treated me like I was a second class citizen I had some trouble with communication with my finance company and the new salesman treated them badly as well I almost walked away 2-3 times but I really liked the vehicle and have been looking for it for so long and my boyfriend smoothed it over for me so I didn’t completely loose it Overall I think that if you are not buying a $40,000 vehicle at Volvo of Winston-Salem you are not treated well More
