Unprofessional, Unethical & Worst Sales Management My wife and I came here to buy a new SUV with a car trade in and experienced the WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL treatment by a car Sales Manager. I can My wife and I came here to buy a new SUV with a car trade in and experienced the WORST and most UNPROFESSIONAL treatment by a car Sales Manager. I can't recall his name, but he is the tall and muscular guy with long hair. The front line sales man was great to work with, but this manager shouldn't be working in this business. You won't miss him as he looks like he should be in the WWE versus sales and customer service. He will come at you with high pressure and high voice tone tactics, which will make you feel uneasy and annoyed. He was low-balling us by thousands less on our trade and only gave a few hundred dollars off the MSRP of the new SUV. When we balked at the numbers, he was accusing us like we had committed a crime for having shopped around our trade, as apparently they have access to all appraisals in the area, which is total BS. The only reason they knew what Carmax's offer was b/c my wife had left the appraisal paperwork in the car and they looked at it. But the worst was when he accused us of going to the Toyota down the street and getting a really low appraisal. We did go to the Toyota but never got an appraisal done. After I told them that I am going back to the Toyota to confront them b/c we did not give them our consent to do an appraisal, he went back to his manager and after 2 mins came back and made another pure BS story - apparently they brought the car to the Toyota for appraisal, which was extremely impossible as all it took them to do the appraisal was 5 mins. There was no way they could drive to the Toyota dealership, do an appraisal and come back in 5 mins. Again UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL and the WORST people to deal with. I thought car sales managers tactics had changed, but boy was I wrong. They still exist and this "bad apple" is in this dealership - avoid him or this car dealership and go somewhere else. Needless to say, we immediately walked out and bought a brand new SUV from another Honda dealership in VA. More
