I was told that Waysata Nissan would cover the remaining payments on the lease of my Sentra and that if the damages on the car were under $500, I shouldn't owe anything else on the Sentra (costumers get a $500 wear/tear voucher for damages if you re-lease or buy another vehicle with Nissan). I waited and waited for a bill for my new Rogue and never got one. In Dec 2015 I called Nissan and informed them I had not received a bill. I had also received a phone call from a debt collector saying that I owed $1007.34 on my Sentra and that they had no record of me leasing a new car. Supposedly, the breakdown of the charges were $661 for remaining monthly payments on the Sentra which was to be covered by Wayzata Nissan for re-leasing or buying another vehicle, $395 for a disposition fee which is supposed to be waived when re-leasing or buying another vehicle, and $255 to replace the cracked windshield which should have been covered under the $500 wear/tear voucher for leasing a new vehicle. I informed the debt collector that Wayzata Nissan was supposed to cover all of those charges because I leased a new vehicle. I also informed my salesperson, and he gave me a number to call to try to resolve the matter, which had me on the phone for days trying to figure this out on my own. I went back and fourth between Vital Recovery, Nissan corporate, Wayzata Nissan, the finance department, and random numbers that were given to me to try and figure out what was going on. Wayzata Nissan then sent me a new lease agreement to sign and send back because the original form was lost, not filed, etc. I went in to Wayzata Nissan to speak with someone before signing to make sure that the charges on the Sentra weren't going to effect my credit. I ended up having to come back another day because the owner was out of the office. I returned a few days later to talk with them again to make sure that this was not going to hit my credit. The finance department told me that it wouldn't and that all of the collections were done internally and the matter did not get reported to the credit bureaus. The owner of Wayzata Nissan also promised to make sure that it didn't and if it did get reported, he would fix it. He also said that he would check to make sure that this did not happen. Four days later, I applied with a mortgage company to get a loan to buy a house. The next day, I received my credit report which showed that the $1007 charge from Nissan had, in fact, been reported to all three credit bureaus and had hit my credit on two separate occasions (12/15/15 and 1/16/16). I presumed it would be hitting my credit a third time (2/15/16), 6 days after I received my report. I went in to Wayzata Nissan to tell them they needed to fix it and the owner informed me that he couldn't do anything because his financing person was out for the day. After going back and forth, he said he could try and make some phone calls but could not promise me anything. He refused to take any action at all while I was there. I left and went to Coon Rapids Nissan to get advice or help from them. The person that helped me made one phone call to Nissan and gave Nissan my new VIN # for my new leased car which informed them that I shouldn't be charged for the disposition fee and the wear/tear voucher. These two charges represent half the charges that were showing on my credit report that I had been trying to get taken care of for a month with Wayzata Nissan, and Coon Rapids Nissan took action to get rid of them within an hour. I have been house hunting the last three weeks and I found two potential houses that I was hoping to put an offer on. But because this charge was reported to all three credit bureaus, my credit fell below the score necessary to obtain financing, so I am unable to purchase a house until this is fixed. More

Prompt and Friendly Service Great Experience with this dealership. I do my homework on cars before I even enter the dealership and I like to get in and get out. I first inquire Great Experience with this dealership. I do my homework on cars before I even enter the dealership and I like to get in and get out. I first inquired online for a sales rep to get in contact with me because my current lease was ending and I wanted to see what kind of deal they could get me on a new lease of my choice. Even though the dealership was closed at the time of my inquiry within minutes Scott got back to me and got some information from me on my current lease and said he would get back to me right away the next morning. He got a hold of me promptly the next morning with the information I had requested. Within the next few hours I had my new car! Scott was great to work with and I also had the pleasure to work with Mark Goodwin. I am definitely going back for my next car! More

Scott Brown A friend of mine recommended Wayzata Nissan. I didn't know anyone at Wayzata Nissan when I walked in this past Saturday early afternoon. Scott Brown walked up and introduced himself immediately after the receptionist called for a new car sales representative and asked if he could help me. Scott was friendly, professional and efficient. Within a half an hour after I walked in, Scott had me test driving the SUV that exactly fit my parameters. Within a half an hour later, I was signing the papers to lease it on terms that I was very happy with. Scott did an excellent job of teaching my wife the electronic and computer systems and was especially patient working with her to get the driver's seat positioned to her liking. Before we left, Scott had booked the first service appointment next June and emailed a confirmation to me. Excellent service and customer relations. More

It's small enough that you feel like your business is truly important to them, but large enough that they have all the amenities and service of a large dealer. I worked with Scott Brown who did a great job walking me through my options and providing the best possible value. He was knowledgeable and friendly and never pushy. He made sure to secure the vehicle I wanted and when the time came to finalize everything, all the ducks were in a row and it went very smoothly. Also love the coffee bar and snacks. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a Nissan. More

Fool me twice After a terrible experience years ago I tried them again. I was "sold" a car I hate by a very charismatic Salesman Bob. Tried to get rid of it and off After a terrible experience years ago I tried them again. I was "sold" a car I hate by a very charismatic Salesman Bob. Tried to get rid of it and offered to upgrade but it was clear their only intention is to separate you from your dollars coming and going. First oil change the service center cracked my bumper. I canceled the Niss ESP and was told I would be refunded in 4-6 weeks by Shannon in Finance. Two more phone calls also confirmed this with other finance associates. It is now over 13 weeks and the payment still hasn’t shown up. Accounts Payable dep said he cut a check on 7/31. This is either malicious or gross incompetence. There is no financial transaction in the world which takes 13 weeks. Run from this dealership. More
