Lady in charge of filing was wonderful, but because of will was ineffective. Car has issues cruise control, seat assignment, fixing it creates a logistics problem and more time and effort on our part. I found the car online made inquiries paid cash for the car, no trade in. recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Walser Nissan in Wayzata. I worked with Nelsen. I would like start by saying that purchasing my vehicle from here was not a good experience. My sales rep wa Nissan in Wayzata. I worked with Nelsen. I would like start by saying that purchasing my vehicle from here was not a good experience. My sales rep was very unprofessional. There were several issues throughout the transaction and the lack of professionalism and customer service was appalling. I started the purchase process online so I could get financing and everything approved before wasting time at the dealership as I knew I wanted the exact vehicle. Prior to signing the paperwork I had asked several questions regarding vehicle damage, if the vehicle came with charging cable (it was a Tesla), etc. I was reassured that the vehicle had no damage and everything I needed would be included. After I signed the paperwork - the vehicle suddenly had some damage and didn't have the included items I asked about. As well as the power opening trunk not functioning properly. Weird how these issues were fine prior to me signing the paperwork, but after I signed it the answers changed. Funny how that works. When I told Nelsen I had concerns about the tires on the vehicle, missing charging cable, and a rather large dent on the vehicle - I was hit with "well we have other applications on the vehicle, you were moving too fast, we can just undo the deal and sell it to someone else." Not an apology or resolution offered, just a threat to sell the vehicle to someone else. In the end, they offered to do nothing on these issues. The day after I signed the paperwork I went to the dealership to test drive the vehicle prior to taking delivery the following day pending my downpayment. When I arrived to test drive the vehicle I waited almost 45 minutes for someone to just grab me the key to the vehicle to drive it. After driving it I spoke to a sales manager about my concerns with my sales rep and the tricks that were pulled to get me to sign the paperwork and was met with a total lack of care. When I came to pick up the vehicle I put $6,500 down. When Nelsen ran my card I was very specific in asking if there was a fee to use my card, he specified that if it is credit there is a 3% fee. I was very clear in saying that it is a debit card and not to put it through as credit. Instead of listening my card was ran as credit, so I got hit with an additional $195 on top of my down payment. I addressed this within seconds of my card being ran. They refused to fix the issue. Nelsen just said "well we can just refund you and sell the vehicle to someone else" instead of just refunding me the $195 they charged me without my consent. Not even a simple apology for the mistake, no resolution offered. Just another threat to undo the deal. After refusing to resolve any of the issues Nelsen just sat the paperwork and keys on the table and told me the car is parked outside. He never walked me out to the vehicle, never walked me around the vehicle. Basically just took my money, told me lies, over charged me, threatened me, then told me "the vehicles parked outside, have a good day." I even mentioned my issues with one of the sales managers and was also basically dismissed by him too. This was one of the most disappointing sales experiences of my life. On top of being overcharged $195, I now have to buy a $300 charging cable, and spend $800+ on tires. Through all the issues there was never a "thank you" or a simple apology for the constant misrepresentations and financial errors. $195 is a lot in this economy, especially when thrown on top of the money you've been saving for a down payment. I was told by Nelsen for the bank to give me the loan terms I wanted I had to have the Pulse and GAP insurance. Well after speaking to the loan company to complete my "welcome call" they informed me that these were actually *NOT* required for the loan. They also put on the paperwork and registration that vehicle is black in color, however the vehicle is white. So now that's another issue I have to deal with. More

The dealership website claims "Walser Reconditioning Process: All vehicles undergo a rigorous 35-stage process including a 190-point mechanical and visual inspection at our Walser Automotive Recon Cente Process: All vehicles undergo a rigorous 35-stage process including a 190-point mechanical and visual inspection at our Walser Automotive Recon Center, the largest of its kind in the Upper Midwest." However, my husband and son drove 12 hours to the dealership to purchase a vehicle that ended up having a considerably undersized aftermarket cabin-air filter. He went to a local Nissan dealership to have an appropriate filter placed in the vehicle. When he followed-up with the Loyalty Manger who sold him the vehicle he was told they would "not be participating in the filter replacement." I then reached out to the General Manager, who said the same thing. Neither manager answered my questions and failed to reply to my email when I asked how something as basic as a filter issue could be missed if that rigorous mechanical and visual process was actually completed on the vehicle. I would NOT recommend this dealership. I think their claim about every vehicle going through a rigorous inspection is a lie and the fact that TWO managers failed to reply to my email and answer my question speaks volumes to their level of professionalism. This was not a terrible experience but they missed several opportunities to be excellent. Did not offer a car fax at the time of sale.
