just now NEW We recently bought a used vehicle from Walser Mazda in White Bear and has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. We purchased a used vehicle from them with full warranty after turning in our Mazda Walser Mazda in White Bear and has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. We purchased a used vehicle from them with full warranty after turning in our Mazda lease. The truck we picked out was actually a salesman that worked their - his used vehicle. They did a full inspection on it and let us know things needed to be fixed before we picked it up- we said ok and asked MULTIPLE times for a copy of what was fixed - and we got nothing. Having such great previous Mazda service we were not super worried so we took the truck. (Handed us the keys with the tank on E, and the service guy upset he had to stay late to fix it, but we left anyways) Within the first week the check Engine light went on, and again we asked for the inspection- never was sent. We let our sales person know about the engine and she said call service with no assistance. We got the truck in and come to find out the whole DPF system burnt out due to a crack in the injector (which you can clearly see from under the truck). They told us we will not cover it or your warranty and it’ll be 6k. Even though that is something that should be covered. I called the warranty company and they said I didn’t purchase the best warranty- even though I was only offered 1 option - that was “bumper to bumper” I even asked if anything internally goes wrong would it be covered? Sales woman said yes EVERYTHING. Immediately we discussed how this should be covered as we’ve had the truck under 1k miles and we have a full warranty. They finally gave me a used car after I had to call MULTIPLE TIMES to the sales manager to take care of this. The GM Bret Juedes let me know this should be covered and it will be taken care of- my truck is now been sitting there for 2 weeks with no answers to calls and texts or voicemails. I’ve now reached out to corporate and I am waiting to hear back. The sales manager Jim also laughed multiple times on the phone at me when I was discussing the truck as if I was a woman who knew nothing about trucks- as I was watching the video their service team sent me about what was wrong. Clearly showing what had happened . DO NOT EVER BUY USED CARS FROM THEM!! They will sell you a lemon and make it all on you. And honestly if you want good customer service - find somewhere else. This has truly been the worst service I’ve ever received and it is unbelievable that a company this large is completely ghosting me More
Excellent salesperson concerned about our purchase experience. As we waited for our vehicle to arrive on shore and then to the dealership, Luis kept us updated every three or four days. He walked us through the purchase process and made it seamless. The only downside is that the process took too long. Not because of Luis. He made sure we understood the adjustments in the car’s software that made it ours personally. The dealership was the nicest I have been in, with many amenities. And the car is incredible. Everyone I know who has or has owned a Mazda loves it. I anticipate I will love this car long term. So far, it holds much promise. More
