All the times I've had my Corolla serviced before I have had a video of the work being performed. Not THIS time. There were other things listed in the Official Toyota Maintenance manual but all that was don had a video of the work being performed. Not THIS time. There were other things listed in the Official Toyota Maintenance manual but all that was done was a tire rotation. I'm a little disappointed the Toyota recommendations weren't followed. More
I have a fleet vehicle and typically the work order approval process with the fleet vendor takes about 30 minutes from arriving at the Walser service center. Upon approval from the fleet vendor, Walser approval process with the fleet vendor takes about 30 minutes from arriving at the Walser service center. Upon approval from the fleet vendor, Walser customer service confirms what they will/are approved to perform. On my most recent visit, the approval process took 2 hours and no one from customer service came to talk with me at any time during that 2 hours. When they did, I was told the vendor "finally approved the work." I happen to know the approval process for simple work like an oil change is auto-approved and does not take two hours. I called the fleet vendor and asked for time stamps on the work order and approval. Indeed it only took 7 minutes for the fleet vendor to approve the request. I learned the request was not submitted until 1 hour and 45 minutes after I arrived at the dealer service center. This is a waste of my time and Walser Toyota's. The oil change and inspection itself took less than 40 minutes. Upon leaving I was not given an invoice of the work done and was told "there is no paperwork" which of course isn't standard practice. I have all my Walser service invoices. It's a lovely new space they are in, but I can not trust them which is unfortunate for them as my car is just coming out of warranty and they will lose out on the money to service it since i will be going elsewhere. I didn't receive the inspection video and was told it's a hit or a miss in new building. When I went to collect after the done message the rep was nowhere to be found. Have to wait 10 minutes and then t a hit or a miss in new building. When I went to collect after the done message the rep was nowhere to be found. Have to wait 10 minutes and then the neighboring rep took pity and handed me the keys. More
I took my car in for a routine oil change and safety inspection. I have no reason to think the work wasn't done well. The new building and its customer waiting area are really first-rate, with the varie inspection. I have no reason to think the work wasn't done well. The new building and its customer waiting area are really first-rate, with the variety of seating and lots of electrical outlets available. The concierge (?? the person who greeted me and gave me my bill) seemed a bit scattered. I think perhaps he's new and a bit overwhelmed. I received a text saying I'd get a video of the mechanic performing the 10-point inspection, but I never got the video. I received a plastic number to set on my table in the waiting area, but the concierge called me on the phone and said I could come pick my car up -- I think he'd lost track of the fact that I was waiting at the dealership. He also didn't walk through my invoice with me. Very nice guy -- just a bit scattered on the day I was there. More
