I drive a 2018 RAV4 Hybrid that has 52K miles on it- I don’t drive that much anymore because I work remotely- so I am not hitting 5K miles in 6 months. I also have had all the required service appointments through this dealer location (I take car of my car). Immediately upon entering for service Walser is texting me about buying my vehicle. The next thing the guy asks me if I got in an accident (no) because my alignment was off. So fine, I will do the oil change, tire rotation and of course fix the alignment (guessing this was caused by hitting a pothole?). Next the guy comes back with a $5K cost (1/4 the value of the car) because of an oil gasket leak- There has been no oil visible or pooling. I have been a loyal Walser Toyota customer for my last 3 cars. This was a horrible experience with very little confidence in the staff. Saying they want to buy my car and then saying I need this very expensive repair. I will not be making this repair with them and probably not at all after reading and talking to some other mechanics that you can continue to drive with this issue as long as you watch your oil levels. Plus they would have to remove the entire engine and rebuild which I don’t trust that this wouldn’t cause more issues. I understand that things can go run with cars but so disappointing at just 52K miles this happened and there is nothing they will do but charge $5K for a huge amount of work or low ball the trade in value. It has been a horrible customer experience and I will not being buying another Toyota or going back to this location for service. More

This is a zero-negotiation dealer, so there isn't the usual concern about a salesperson working to earn as much as possible on the sale. Walser Bloomington Toyota is now open in the new facility. When you drive in your tires and wheel alignment is registered. Very cool. Appointment scheduling is easy and fast. We recently purchased a 2020 Honda Ridgeline from Walser Toyota. Our salesperson was Dante. He was very personable & really helped us with our decision. I’ve worked with Walser for over 8 years and this is the first time I’ve contemplated not going back. I took my vehicle that is under warranty in with an oil leak and they said because it’s a seep and not a first time I’ve contemplated not going back. I took my vehicle that is under warranty in with an oil leak and they said because it’s a seep and not a leak, they won’t fix it. So, my warranty is about to run out and I’ll be financially responsible for fixing it. This will be our last purchase with Walser due to this experience. More
