I went to Walter Bloomington to look over a Tundra pickup without any real intent to actually buy one. Most of my interaction was with Abel Andena who was beyond outstanding. I also had interaction with Mike Wiggins who was equally great. I got about what I expected in a very fair trade-in value for my old vehicle, handled and explained expertly by Adam. Abel handled all the paperwork very well in much less time than expected and presented the paint and interior and extended warranty options very adeptly with no pressure whatsoever (I opted to buy most of it). All in all, a great experience. More
Paint buffing was of marginal value, as it made little difference. The repair work also only included scratch repairs that were called out at the time of sale and not discovered after. The dealer is not proactive to get a Prius car for us after placing an order, which took almost 15 months instead of 8-12 months which we were informed in the beginning. Also, the documents/paperworks on the models are not consistent with the real car model which we purchased finally. Both documents/paperworks including the printed copy from Walser Toyota on the purchase and the licence plate application for the car have the car model printed as Prius LE instead of Prius XLE which is the one we purchased. We did talk with the Salesman and his manager about our concern on the inconsistence before paying the final payment. However, they didn’t feel that it was a big deal and didn’t make any correction on the documents/paperworks when we purchased the Prius XLE. They told us, “The ID# is more important and correct for the Prius XLE which we buy, and there is no car model listed on the car title from State.” We will be back to have the issue clarified if we receive the car title from State later with the wrong model, Prius LE instead of Prius XLE, on it. The salesman at Walser Toyota is nice, but the whole process on getting our new Prius from Walser Toyota is stressful. The inconsistence on the documents/paperworks of our new Prius XLE also let me question the quality of services at Walser Toyota. More
