I came in without an appointment to ask for a brake check. Marcus welcomed me and got me situated with a brake inspection and a look at the "seeping" oil pan problem that Walser had identified as a po check. Shop charge of 36 dollars was not explained prior to work being done. Shop charge is borderline fraud. I had to pay 30 dollars break inspection even though I knew I had to have break work done. That fee s being done. Shop charge is borderline fraud. I had to pay 30 dollars break inspection even though I knew I had to have break work done. That fee should be waived when work is done there. I appreciate the responsiveness of the sales team Travis and Cal in even helping me see pre-owned cars with their other dealership twice. I was able to see new listings and test drive the cars and answered my questions even in when not at work. They also offered insights on Carfax reports and car comparisons. They were also objective. Appreciate that Dustin was able to identify and fix the cause of my brake noise, but disappointed that this was caused by the mistake of a different Walser tech in the first place and that my concerns were cause of my brake noise, but disappointed that this was caused by the mistake of a different Walser tech in the first place and that my concerns were dismissed on two previous visits. Also wish I had not had to meet with the manager to discuss waiving the charges since that should have been done in the first place. More
Salim Essa, Michael Wiggins and the rest of the Walser Toyota team are unbelievable. As an older dude who's owned a couple dozen cars, I'd sworn of dealing with dealerships years ago ... but these guys ha Toyota team are unbelievable. As an older dude who's owned a couple dozen cars, I'd sworn of dealing with dealerships years ago ... but these guys have completely changed my mind and attitude. Professional, informative and exceedingly patient in answering every dopey question I could think of. Thank you for a car-buying experience far better than I ever hoped possible. More
Called to schedule an appointment to have the transmission serviced on my 2022 Toyota Corolla. I asked the service tech on the phone the price and what was included in the service. I was told t transmission serviced on my 2022 Toyota Corolla. I asked the service tech on the phone the price and what was included in the service. I was told that this service included fluid and filter change and the price was $210.00 for the service. I called back to schedule the appointment and again asked to confirm the price and they told me it was $240. When I had the service done, I found out that this was only for a fluid drain and fill and did not include changing the transmission filter. Toyota manual states that the transmission filter should be changed at 60,000 miles, but the service department told me that is never needs to be replaced. When the drain and fill service was done, I was told the prices would be $285. When I complained they did give me a 10% discount, but still higher then what I was told. I was given a number to place on my table so the service tech could find me. At one point I left the table for about 3 minutes to use the restroom. When I returned and was sitting back at the table several minutes later I noticed that the number given to me was missing. I had to go find someone in the service department to find out that my vehicle was finished and ready to go. If I hadn't noticed that the number was missing I would have been sitting there much longer. More
