I purchased a 2018 Expedition demonstrator in 2020 with the agreement that they would update the maps for no additional charge. Would only take an hour. Fast forward, returned to update the maps, wasted a the agreement that they would update the maps for no additional charge. Would only take an hour. Fast forward, returned to update the maps, wasted an hour + looking for the 'IT Specialist". After 20 minutes of fiddling around, he said that he did not know how to perform the update. I ordered and paid for the update, but it would not load, due to the fiddling of the 'IT' guy. Finally reached FoMoCo who were great. They sent a link to erase Wayne Akers mistakes and I was able to load the current maps. Thanks FORD Corp ! More
My sales person was a real help and knew her product but the closing experience was not professional at all. Extended Warranties were added without my knowledge. 5/10/2020 I took my 2013 Expedition for warranty A/C repair, 2 days later same issue occurred. Returned to Wayne Akers who badly damaged both front and rear of vehicle while in shop. Bent rear frame and repair, 2 days later same issue occurred. Returned to Wayne Akers who badly damaged both front and rear of vehicle while in shop. Bent rear frame and hatch, destroyed front grill assy and bent other front parts. Bought newer replacement at an unfriendly price as I was leaving state 2 days later for extended time. Repair shop manager was straight ! More
