I live in texas and contacted Wayne Akers over a vehicle i wanted. Over the next couple days we made a deal. We settled at 29k otd. The sales manger talked to me and said it was "an honest mistake" to drive the price up over 4k. Even though it clearly states it. We did have some choice words over this misunderstanding. I have contacted Ford head office and they sent an email, I sent an email. Ive been trying to contact the GM or SM (idk their titles) no one is willing to call me back. Not only is this a considered deceptive practices, also falls under FTC Act Section 5. This law makes it illegal for businesses, including car dealerships, to engage in unfair or deceptive acts or practices. Advertising a price that is not actually available can, in some circumstances, violate this law. Since no one wants to own up to the mistake im having to write this review to even get anyone's attention. More

Gregg Becker emailed a worksheet with a discount of only $4626 with an additional $1397 Akers Protection package, and a higher Electronic Filing Fee than disclosed on the website. I asked for them to remove the $1397 as there is no verbiage on the website its mandatory, no acknowledgment. They were supposed to send lease numbers, didn't do that either.
