I paid $255 to diagnose an issue with my rear window not moving up. I was told that it was the regulator, that it would be roughly $949, and that it would take at least a day to get the part. I said that I could not pay that much that day and that I would drive my truck home. I had looked into the issue in the waiting room and saw that other people asked their dealerships to put the window up and lock it while the part came in. I asked if my window could be put up and locked at Wayne Akers Ford at 2000 10th Ave N in Lake Worth FL and I was told no. I went back to my place of work and put the window up myself in a few minutes. While I understand labor costs, not doing the very least possible, put up a window, to retain a customer is baffling. I would have come back and paid the $950 to fix my window. Instead I looked at smaller shops and will have it done Tuesday for $418. I am still at a loss because a Ford dealership will take advantage of a Ford owner for diagnosing an issue. More

Keana was great, but the techs were seemingly confused and unclear with what they could and could not do to my car. I was told an alignment wasn’t possible and then they did it after I went elsewhere and and unclear with what they could and could not do to my car. I was told an alignment wasn’t possible and then they did it after I went elsewhere and was told they couldn’t do it because of a bad tie rod and the techs said the tie rod was fine and somehow was able to do the alignment although prior to that I was told it wasn’t possible. The tech also left out that there was damage to the tie rod in the notes and it wasn’t recommended but when I returned they then said there was no damage. Very confusing, still not sure if it is damaged or not. More
