We were thrilled by the experience with and service of Alens Constant at Wellesley Toyota for our recent purchase of a used Toyota Highlander. He and the other staff (especially the manager Shaun and Mike Alens Constant at Wellesley Toyota for our recent purchase of a used Toyota Highlander. He and the other staff (especially the manager Shaun and Mike in the Financing department) made the process enjoyable and easy for us. We had been looking for a specific car (model, year, mileage etc.) for a few weeks with no luck at other dealerships, where we could only find base models with very high mileage. When we looked into Wellesley's inventory, we could easily see that their stock was of higher quality than the others. Specifically, they had more selection in cars with gently-used mileage with more luxury options. We knew that no-one else had the quality of car selection that Wellesley had, and upon test driving our first car there and realizing the outward appeal was engine-deep, our car search quickly came to an end. Perhaps it’s due to the used auto purchaser, or due to the other Wellesley Toyota customers treating their cars with respect (when they intend to trade-in/lease), and perhaps it’s both. Alens was excellent throughout the process and especially after the car was purchased, when he and Shaun took great care and time to go through each of the many features of the car to ensure that we understood their function and how to use them before we drove off. We feel like we have stepped into a higher quality business, with higher quality service & customers. We look forward to returning to Wellesley Toyota for future purchases, and we're confident that the same service is reflected department-wide and will gladly bring our car back for all of our future routine service needs. We owe it to Alens and Wellesley Toyota to provide them with as glowing a testimonial and as high and positive a recommendation as we can provide, as they really surpassed our expectations! This is the third car that we have purchased from this dealership. All have been used cars. The owner buys used cars that are far superior to other dealerships as they are cleaner than the norm. The sales staff, namely Alens Constant is a cut above the rest. He is soft-spoken and not your typical "used car salesman". He listens and offers suggestions without being overly "pushy". Toyota of Wellesley is not the cheapest dealership around but certainly not the most expensive and they are willing to work with you. They maintain their integrity which is rare in used car sales. My family and I have bought a collective total of 12-13 vehicles over the years. As I have already alluded to, this experience was, by far, the best. No contest. Wellesley gave me its best price the first time around. No one else did. I had initially contacted 7-8 Toyota dealerships and asked them for a "no baloney, best price" bid on all my first contacts. Only Wellesley did this. There are at least 6-7 Toyota dealerships closer to my home than Wellesley, and to top it off, Wellesley did not even have the vehicle I wanted in stock, but yet gave me the best price, the Consumer Report's price, and no one there played games. I think you know what I mean by games. At 2-3 other Toyota dealerships there were people who were not totally truthful with me. That is a big turn off. I am not rich or even well off, but I will pay a higher cost for the vehicle if I know I am being told the truth. I can go on and on, but I think you now have the idea. Sincerely, Bernard Nesse More
