After searching the internet, I found a used truck that fit my needs. After taking it on a test drive with very polite salesman Ray Dellaero, I wanted to purchase it, but felt the price was a bit high. R fit my needs. After taking it on a test drive with very polite salesman Ray Dellaero, I wanted to purchase it, but felt the price was a bit high. Ray consulted with Manager Kagan Sharpe who adjusted the price to an amount we could both accept. The next day, I found a few glitches I hadn't noticed on the test drive (some lights not working, tire pressure gauge flashing, rough acceleration). I called to ask for these items to be repaired (even though used vehicles have no warranty), since the truck had been inspected and determined to be in good order. Ray was out of town, so Kagan handled my request. With no hesitation, he offered to have the repairs made at my convenience, free of charge. This was a used truck, but Kagan wanted to make it right. Was I ever surprised that the truck was ready as promised, plus three new tires had been installed! I could only guess that upon further inspection, the service dept felt the tires needed replacement. My husband and I (very particular customers) are absolutely thrilled with the service we received at this dealership from these two fine representatives. We agree that this is the place to go for our future auto needs - and to highly recommend it to our friends (the fact that it's close to home is an added plus). When we arrived John was busy so he assigned us to Lynne. Lynne was friendly enough but really pushed us to test drive a vehicle. I said several times I really didn't want too test drive anything until I had worked on numbers with her. She showed us several vehicles and was very helpful and seemed pretty knowledgable overall. We sat down to talk about numbers which took a very long time. I was insulted when Lynne kept writing these handwritten "contracts" on the backs of applications and asking me to sign with a promise to buy if she met the conditions we talked about. She did not meet the conditions on the one I did sign and then tried to make me feel guilty because I would buy because she met half the items we talked about. We finally did come to an agreement. It was pretty high pressure but it was a good deal. However, the thing I would advise people to be aware of is the "after sale promises." For instance, when we had signed we were handed one set of keys. when we asked about a second set they said usually they give people two sets but we don't have a second on this "used" vehicle. We insisted on a second set and were promise by Lynne and another yound man that they would get us another set. When my wife went back to get the set the manager came over and said it wasn't on the "promise to buy' handwritten contract. When she pointed out that we wouldn't have known there was not a second set and they promised a second set after the sale, the manager argued that he didn't have an obligation to meet the promises of his employees. Eventually, he agreed to pay for $100 for a set of keys that cost $157. So the promise wasn't met. They had promised to get us the owners manual and eventually did, but it was after several calls that were never returned and a trip down to the dealer again. To me a promise is a promise, after the sale or before. They are pleasant enough, but like so many sales people, they say what it takes and promise what they have too to shut you up and then hope you go away. More
Ray took the time to explain the differences between the models and helped me find a Camry model that was perfect for me. Coming into look for a Corolla for my wife. Ray was very respectful and friendly in his dealings. When it came down to dealing both Ray and Kagan were very respectful and gave us plenty of time and space to respectful and friendly in his dealings.
