If the manufacturer sent the wrong parts, then why did the parts dept not notice the difference? The part numbers are not even close. Don't they inspect parts when they are received to ensure that what was ordered is what was received? If this is SOP, maybe it is time to re-think the process or develop new processes with better checks & balances.
