I have been screwed by the biggest and best in the Western New York area. So, I was well prepared when I arrived at Glen Campbell Chevrolet. My family was treated with respect, courtesy, and we were not given high pressure sales approach. In less than 3 hours, we came to see the car in which we were interested, we were appoved for the loan, and left with the car that evening with almost no money down. Before you jump to to conclusion that my payments were astronomical, don't. I paid what I wanted for the vehicle, was given the interest rate I expected, and my payments are reasonable. This was the one and only time in which I left a dealership as a satisfied customer with no problems and a gut feeling that I was doing the right thing. Thank you Paul and Dave. More
I also tried getting a car here, but ended up speaking to an older guy who basically told me the car I wanted was REALLY Expensive and that their NEVER move off of sticker ... but he didn't realize I can pay an older guy who basically told me the car I wanted was REALLY Expensive and that their NEVER move off of sticker ... but he didn't realize I can pay cash for that REALLY expensive car, even though I am young. But that's OK, I suppose, as long as the job gets done in time.

The price negotiation process was much worse than my previous experience with other dealers. Working with a few hundred dollars at a time (yes, even $100 at a time!) was really frustrating. It's how the manager-behind-the-wall tells the sales people to deal.

I finally got to meet the floor manager before signing off the deal. I thought those stereotypical used car sales men existed only in the movies until I dealt with this guy.......

After the purchase, it took weeks to have them obtain the title of ownership.

I had to take my car back to the shop a couple of times over the next few months. Thank God for the manufacturer's warranty. Their service department really needs either better management or competent mechanics.....

This would be my last time doing business with Glen Campbell Chevrolet/Oldsmobile.

More
