Sales staff great…… service department and management … Don’t Care! Have been buying Honda's since 1983 most from Westbrook. In December brought in my 2021 CRV to Westbrook for it's first oil change, completed. When I got home I double checked the oil, noticed the level was more than 1 inch above the full mark. I contacted service left a message for the service manager about issue and waited .... And waited for a response. Gave up waiting. Rather than driving back and wasting ~ 3 hours total round trip going back to dealership I decided to drain the extra oil out myself. Two hours later I had siphoned over 1 quart of oil to get to the top full mark! Still No call back. That night I received a service survey email. I took pictures of the bottles of excess oil and emalied a detailed letter to Westbrook. About 2 days later, I received a call from the service manager apologizing. No explanation of how it could happen. He told me that he had a meeting with all of his technicians and assured me it would never happen again. He offered 2 free oil changes for my inconvenience. Later I found out the the CRV with a different engine has a oil capacity ~ 1 quart greater than my engine, coincidence)? I accepted his apology and moved on. Last week I brought in my Accord for a oil change. (BTW the price has gone from 20 bucks to 50 bucks since December, talk about Covid inflation)? I spefically asked the advisor to make sure that the oil was not overfilled and that the technician wipe off any old oil drips on the vehicle crossmembers. One hour later the vehicle was ready. Before I paid I asked my advisor if the technician double checked the oil level and he said it's all set. When I got home and checked the oil level it was about 5/8 inch above the max fill mark. Once again I spent about a hour and siphoned out ~ 20 + ounces of excess oil above the max fill mark. Did he forget to change the filter …. Or leave that much old oil in the crankcase … or did the oil dispenser over pour oil? What are the odds that my 2 oil changes are the only 2 vehicles that were overfilled ? How can I trust them? Since 1983 I purchased 8 new Honda been checking and changing oil in the same bay of my garage never a issue before! If you can't trust them to do a simple task like change the oil and filter, how can you trust them to do something complicated like a cooling system or tranny fluid change or god forbid a timing belt change!!! I spent 55 bucks, wasted almost 3 hours and another 9 bucks on gas for a job that any 15 year old could complete without incident. In the almost 40 years of purchasing Hondas these last 2 service issues have left me with a bad taste for them. When I bring my vehicles in for service I have to feel comfortable that the work is being done correctly by competent mechanics! Buying a new car and spending $35k plus is more than the up front cost … service is part of the formula, now more than ever, service/maintenance is critical to the overall Cost to the “deal”! Been several weeks, I’ve written emails, responded to surveys from the dealership to discuss my service issue …. No follow up! In their follow up phone call and emails they talk about how important customer satisfaction is … but I guess mine doesn’t matter. Guess they decided my satisfaction is not worth their effort! More

I don't know why but I have had nothing but trouble with the Lorensen group, so far the Toyota has been ok, their Dodge dealer in Old Say ruined by Ram pickup, lied about it being done and installed the wro the Lorensen group, so far the Toyota has been ok, their Dodge dealer in Old Say ruined by Ram pickup, lied about it being done and installed the wrong computer, whenever I use Westbrook Honda the car is never washed and I have to wait, we also have a Rav4 from their Toyota and service there has been ok. All I needed since Friday was a simple answer, can I get a loaner or not? because I would have to change my drop off, this CRV has the bad AC clutch problem and I know I won't be waiting for that. Maybe Lorensen Group is just good for oil changes. The girl Friday on the phone tells me to call back Monday because no one can answer that question and today she transfers me warranty. Seriously people, if you can't answer simple questions why are we in business? More
