I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership and any WestGate dealership. Once they have your money, don’t expect follow-through, communication, or accountability. In January 2025, I purchased a used EV that qualified for the $4,000 federal used EV tax credit. I have documentation that they were aware of the EV tax credit and willing to submit the sale. What followed was a year of frustration just trying to get a straight answer on whether they even submitted the required documentation to the IRS. No one could give me a clear answer. Calls went unreturned and I was repeatedly told they were waiting on their corporate office. Fast forward to filing my 2025 taxes in February 2026 and, unsurprisingly, I found out the credit was never submitted. I reached back out to the dealership to fix the issue multiple times, and once again got the same excuse: "corporate isn't responding." It's now April 14th, 2026 and no closer than I was in January 2025. If they couldn’t handle a basic federal tax credit process, I'd seriously question what else they mishandle behind the scenes. More
