I believe that there was an honest attempt to fix the problem I brought it in for which was an oil leak. Originally I was told they couldn't find a leak but that I had another issue that needed imitate a problem I brought it in for which was an oil leak. However upon getting my vehicle hom I realized that the original issue was still there. So I took the car back in and spoke to the assistant service manager who took it in but after several hours once again said we can find no leak. I showed them several pads that had been under my vehicle and had oil droppings on them. It's important to note that from the very beginning I told everyone I thought it was leaking in or around the oil filter. After keeping my vehicle for another day and running it for an extended period of ti.e then letting it sit over night they were able to see the leak and it was coming from the oil filter. I was told then that there had been some kind of change to the filter and it it was not seated just right it would leak. Not being a mechanic but knowing that sometimes little changes can slip by the routine work like oil changes maybe some additional training would be helpful. I want to be clear, I have always and continue to be a very satisfied customer and believe Westgate has treated me well and will in the future treat me will but this could have all been avoided with the proper training.
