New car experience I called first and then went to the dealer to look at an advertised new car special. After showing us the car, the salesman stated that there would be a dealer fee of around $1,000 added on. I asked what the fee was, and he said dealer profit. I consider this to be false advertísing. I understand how car dealers work, but this was so blatant that I said goodbye and left. I bought three cars from them in the last few years, but no more. More
