Simple Oil Change went bad. Went to West Town to get an oil change. Service was quick and friendly as usual. No issues there at all. Oil change was completed in the normal amo Went to West Town to get an oil change. Service was quick and friendly as usual. No issues there at all. Oil change was completed in the normal amount of time and I was given a report by the service manager on duty. Drove my Jeep around Jacksonville for 30 minutes and returned home. Went out to get something from my Jeep and noted a large puddle of oil running down my fairly new and very white concrete driveway. Called service immediately, The service tech and another gentleman came out to examine what had happened. They found an o-ring on the oil filter cartridge cap had split and leaked almost all of the oil out of the motor! This was corrected in my driveway and they took my Jeep back to the dealership to get the leaking oil off of the underside of the Jeep. They offered to clean my concrete and came and put oildry on it later that afternoon. My driveway is still stained. I trust West Town with all of my vehicle service and I was a little upset about this incident. They did not follow up after the incident to see if they could come and clean the driveway more. It was left on me to do the communication with them. More
