Top-Notch Service Had a catalytic converter go out on my 2013 Outback at about 100,000 miles and paid to have it replaced. Within 10,000 miles it failed again and was o Had a catalytic converter go out on my 2013 Outback at about 100,000 miles and paid to have it replaced. Within 10,000 miles it failed again and was out of warranty. White Bear Subaru replaced the catalytic converter at no charge. "just doing the right thing" is a credibility to the integrity of the employee's, their leadership and the Subaru organization as a whole. White Bear Subaru has earned my continued business. More

The facility was very nice and conveniently located. Our sales guy did a great job explaining the different options we could get with the Ascent models. He listened to us and understood what we were hoping to buy. He was courteous and friendly. The finance guy was also very knowledgeable and the process went fine. However the sales pitch on the extended warranty products went on too long and added unnecessary time to the process. This seems to be the new normal as we encountered this same situation when purchasing another car. Due to Covid 19 concerns the salesman was not able to sit in the car with us and show us the instrumentation etc. It would have been helpful if there would have been a video we could have watched to learn some of the main operations. Although he did tell us we can call him with questions. More

Matt H was working with me in the bay/service area and he was great. He's always smiling and willing to help in any way he can. The staff there are always friendly and helpful. The waiting area is very nice and during non-Covid times the variety of snacks and beverages are plentiful and delicious (and include fruit). They also have tables with USB and plug-in capacity for electronics. My most recent service trip resulted in me purchasing a new vehicle. I met with sales rep Yvonne and she was great!! I told her I didn't plan to buy a new vehicle and I've never owned a new vehicle in my life; I always bought my cars outright and drove them until they died. I was hesitant about buying a new vehicle because I couldn't afford high monthly payments. She was great! She said they had many options available and she was confident she could find a vehicle that fit my needs. I told her I didn't need all of the "bells and whistles" like lane departure, blind spot detection, leather and/or heated seats, etc. I was a simple car person and if it was automatic, had a spot to plug in my phone, and AC, I was happy. I didn't want anything big (The Outback was nice, but too large for my needs). She showed me the Subaru CrossTrek and it was perfect! At no time did I feel pressured to buy a vehicle. It was a relaxing experience. I wasn't sold something out of my budget and I love my new car! The staff do follow-up calls to see if they can assist with anything, and to inquire about my satisfaction with the vehicle. I highly recommend White Bear Subaru! I rarely rate any business the highest star rating because there's always room for improvement, but I cannot think of one thing they could improve upon. Except maybe offering me a free pizza. ;) (kidding) Keri K. More
