I know we have spoken privately, but again, I sincerely apologize for your disappointing experience. The wait you experienced was unprofessional and not the way we typically do business. We are reviewing procedures so that kind of thing can be avoided in the future. White River Toyota does not make any decisions regarding, or have any influence on, financing decisions. This part of purchasing a vehicle is the sole responsibility of Toyota Financial Services (TFS), or other financing chosen by the customer. TFS makes a determination based on the information provided by the customer and credit reporting agencies. Credit scores can change daily and life events can have an effect on your score. The dealership and the sales representative have no incentive to lie about your credit score. It only creates unhappy customers. We want customers to receive good financing so their purchase can be paid for. I'm glad you were able to get a better rate through your credit union.
