Toyota is very changeling for a terminal pessimist Part of me wants to be mad that I spent over $20K on a truck that does not have a digital compass, outdoor temp. reading, or a locking tail gate (no l Part of me wants to be mad that I spent over $20K on a truck that does not have a digital compass, outdoor temp. reading, or a locking tail gate (no locking tail gate? Seriously?). Selling cars to poor pessimists like my self is a tricky business indeed. However my experience with White River Toyota Sales and especially the Service center helped me realize I paid for something way more valuable then electric seats (which I also wish I had): that is a trust worthy mechanic. It's hard for me to believe now that at the time of purchase I was skeptical about the extended warranty because just two weeks into ownership turns out the extended warranty is the most valuable part of Toyota ownership especially out here on the east coast where in the process of getting a NH inspection sticker I came to learn in no uncertain terms that every non-Toyota mechanic on the east coast is a total and absolute lier. I was very happy that Sully was almost as concerned about a pre-certified truck failing NH inspection (ultimately because of a lieing mechanic doing the NH inspection) as I was. It became obvious that even the sales people have an expectation that when they sell pre-certified the certification does in fact mean something. More
