I have bought, sold, and traded-in plenty of cars/motorcycles over the last 8 years... to the point where I have lost track of how many. What can I say? I love cars and motorcycles. As a result cars/motorcycles over the last 8 years... to the point where I have lost track of how many. What can I say? I love cars and motorcycles. As a result of my experience, a lot of my friends and family often want me to go with them whenever they want to purchase a car. Inevitably, I've had to deal with plenty of dealerships... definitely more so than the average 30 year-old or any average person for that matter. God's honest truth, I can't think of one dealership I would recommend... at least in the Tri-State area where a lot of my selling and purchasing has transpired. That is until I went to Wide World BMW. This is the best dealership I have ever been to and I would highly recommend them to close friends and family. I've owned mainly Fords, Toyotas, Jeeps, and Hondas. I turned 30 a few months ago and decided that I would finally get a "luxury" vehicle. The last few months, I started walking into BMW and Mercedes dealerships. I worked in sales for 2 years of my life wearing a suit 6-7 days a week. I absolutely hated the work and wearing suits. So unless it's a wedding, I dress with whatever is most comfortable. A majority of dealerships I have walked in to, they either ignore me completely thinking I have no money. When they do talk to me they almost always steer me to their lowest end models: Honda Fit, Ford Fiesta, etc.. I never minded it and would just play along and work my way up to what I really wanted. A lot of people I've dealt with are shocked when they realize how much I actually make. Having worked in sales myself, I always thought it was a good idea to throw a curve ball to salesmen to make them realize that everyone is a potential customer, hence judge no one and always treat everyone with respect. I had been eyeing a brand new BMW X3 or a used BMW X5. Yes, they are feminine cars, but you know what... it's super comfy and luxurious. Living in Upper Manhattan, there was a slew of BMW dealerships at my disposal. I had visited 5 of them in Central and North Jersey and two Mercedes dealerships. I spent a good 1-1.5 hours in each one just walking in the showroom. One dealership in particular was in a very affluent North Jersey neighborhood. They had two customers outside the lot with salesmen. There must have been 4-5 salesmen inside. I was alone walking in the showroom. Not a single salesperson came up to me to ask if I needed help. These guys were worse than the non-luxury dealerships! At least the non-luxury dealerships said hello! Like I always have the last 2 years when I am close to pulling the trigger on a car, I go to truecar. The dealership with the highest reviews, gets first dibs. None of the BMW dealerships I had already visited that were within 15 miles of me made the list. Wide World BMW just happened to be the highest rated AND the best priced. Here is the funny part: I did NOT buy a BMW from Wide World... at least not yet. So why is this review here? This review is here to let people know that these guys are the real deal. Some employees write fraudulent reviews for their dealership to bump up their score. Not these guys, all the positive reviews you see on here are legit. Before I even walked in the dealership, I walked around the lot to check out what they had. I was greeted by Moon who asked me if I needed help. I told him that I was just looking around for now. Right there, I was already shocked someone even came out to help me based on my previous experience with luxury car dealerships. Moon said ok and went back inside. 15 minutes later, he came back out and asked what it is I was looking for so he could make my life easier and just show me what was in the lot. To make a long story short, we spent 3.5 hours sorting through the lot. The entire time I never felt pressured to buy! Buy! Buy! Just a cool and laid back attitude. It wasn't like there weren't any customers either. As I had already experienced at another BMW dealership, even if there are no customers, they still didn't even bother to approach me. So the fact that there were customers but Moon still took the time to show a bummy looking guy around for 3.5 hours, he definitely already had my respect for not judging someone. When it all ended, I just wasn't ready to buy just yet. I was still really torn between the X3 and the X5. Before I left, we discussed the possibility of trading in my current vehicle. He had asked me about it a few hours earlier, but I promptly told him I was planning on selling it myself to which he didn't really press forward about it until near the end. Moon asked me some questions about it. He kindly asked if he could have his guys check it out to give me a quote to how much they would offer. I told him that's ok since I wasn't ready to purchase yet, it didn't make much sense to get it checked out now, especially since I had too many personal items floating in the car for anyone to come in and look at it. Here's the most amazing thing. He asked once. I answered... and that was the LAST time he asked it!!! I'm in bizarro world!!! Typically, it takes another 20-25 minutes of telling a salesman, "No means no." Then... another first for me in all the dealerships I've ever gone to. Once I got up to leave I was waiting for the, "Before you go, just sit right there." Usually the manager comes in, then the other manager... they keep you prisoner for as long as they can (or as long as you can tolerate) and basically try and force you to buy a car. They essentially think if you test drove the car, they can get you to buy it. You walk out and you're a lost sale. Dealerships don't realize it, but this is why they make people miserable (aside from their overall sleaziness to try and rip you off at every turn). Pressure tactics I guess work or otherwise they wouldn't keep doing it. When I used to be in sales, I was always of the opinion that pressure tactics will get you a customer for a day at the risk of that same customer being dissatisfied after the dust settles. You treat a customer with respect, patience, and make them as comfortable as possible... you gain a customer for life. Even if a customer does not buy something from you, when their family or friend may need your service at some point they can say, "You know, I know this really awesome sales guy." To me it's the ultimate win-win situation, a person who doesn't buy anything now is not just a potential customer in the future, but is a perfect referral. So first impression better be your xxxx best because it will be the last impression. Once I got up, I was just waiting for that dreaded line to tell me to sit down so the manager can come and talk to me. To my utter shock and disbelief, it never happened. Moon gave me his card and just said, "Well, I completely understand. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm almost always here. I hope this was a good experience for you so we can have your business some day." He shook my hand and said good-bye. That's it... done. Just in total disbelief that in the 8 years of wheeling and dealing, there is a "good dealership" out there. As they always say though, it's not how you're treated before you buy car... it's how you're treated after. That will be the true judge of how good this dealership really is. When I do make my decision to get a BMW, these guys without a doubt will get the first serious offer from me because of the respect they showed me. I will report back here on my experience dealing with them once that day comes. Bar none, best dealership I've ever dealt with in the Tri-State!!! More

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Terrible service and they just leave you running around in circles. My review is going to be long, but please save yourself the trouble and read this review. On December- 2 just leave you running around in circles. My review is going to be long, but please save yourself the trouble and read this review. On December- 2 I was following an ad on cars.com and decided to jump on the offer after careful deliberation. Their prices were reasonable and I wanted a different car. I arrived an hour late to the scheduled appointment, but said I wanted the car right away. (Within 15 minutes of stepping foot in the dealership I agreed to purchase). Then they kept me waiting around for about 3 hours, and in the end said that they couldn't contact BMW finance department because they were closed for the day. It's my fault so I said ok and I came back the next day. During that long wait I realized that the car advertised on cars.com and the one that I purchased had different mileage but same VIN...probably a input error, but I was fine with it because I still wanted the car. December - I came back in the morning and I bought old car in for the trade in. I was told that within 2 weeks they should pay off my car. (I asked because I had a payment coming up and they guaranteed that they would pay it on time). I was a happy customer so far. December 5- William called me and realized they made a mistake on the contract. I took time out of my day to rectify it and send ups the revised contract. I was still a happy customer. December 20- My payment was due in 2 days, and still no payment from Wide World. I called Joey (Used Sales Manager and he assured me it would get on time. Meanwhile I still did not get my registration in the mail....weird. December 22-My payment was due. I called Acura and they said my credit would be may be adversely affected if I didn't make a rush payment to ensure my payment would be processed on the same day. I made the payment and paid the fee out of my pocket. I start getting annoyed at this point. I still keep my cool. Dec 30- They finally make PART of the payment on my car. The payoff amount was nearing 17000 yet the only paid 16,200ish. They short changed me, but at the moment that was the least of my worries. I still didn't get my registration in the mail. I called Joey and he said he "sent" it out. January 02, 2014- I get an expired registration ticket because of Joey's laziness. Amazing. I was starting to get really pissed. January 10, 2014- I drive to the dealership. (Over an hour and multiple tolls away) Joey assures me that he will take care of everything. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. January 20- February 17 2014- I call Wide World BMW Everyday. He doesn't respond to any of my multiple voice mails that I left him. Also, he doesn't even pick up the phone half the time. One of the times he did he said "Sorry I was on vacation for the past 2 weeks". Another time he said "call me back Monday, I'll handle it first thing". All empty lies. So at this point, a few months after I bought my car I am still owned money on my payoff. TL:DR- After a few months of terrible service, I am left with a parking ticket and a car I can purchase at other BMW dealerships. Don't get me wrong, I love the car. Kirby was a fantastic salesman. He helped me out a lot. I would buy a BMW again, just not with the scammers at Wide World. What kind of company doesn't honor the pay off amount they agreed to pay on the contract. Extremely terrible. Trust me and stay away from this dealership. There are just too many other BMW dealerships within driving distance in order for valuable customers to settle for subpar service. Kurby Herisse is an excellent sales person. We spoke on the phone initially, he treated me with respect, and arranged for me to buy just the car I wanted. When I was away on vacation, he sent one email to the phone initially, he treated me with respect, and arranged for me to buy just the car I wanted. When I was away on vacation, he sent one email to me letting me know the car would be ready when I returned. He was not pushy; I did not have phone messages or numerous emails from him when I returned from vacation. Kurby was informative and answered my many questions. The business deal was easy to do; not complicated at all. When I got home, I put on my BMW baseball cap and BMW jacket, and jumped up and down in front of my husband because I was so pleased. Thank you. (P.S. If I could change one thing, it would be the treaterous walk across 59 to go to the Finance Department) More

I'm a tough customer to please. Will went the extra mile for me and I am one happy customer. I dealt with a lot of other BMW dealers around the Westchester/Rockland/CT area while car shopping and I fe mile for me and I am one happy customer. I dealt with a lot of other BMW dealers around the Westchester/Rockland/CT area while car shopping and I felt like they were all giving me the standard sales spiel. Will skipped the sales approach and instead worked with me in a non-pushy no-pressure manner. A little customer service and no-nonsense pricing were what I was looking for. That sealed the deal for me. I leased an amazing 2014 estoril blue 335xi M-sport and when the lease is over there will be no need to shop around. I'll go straight to Will. More

Alan was extremely patient (we've spent over 6 hours at the dealership looking for the right combination of features, color, and price) and he was 100% courteous and very helpful. We got a great car at a good price and didn't feel any of the usual stress of negotiating a car deal. I was expecting that getting an upmarket car would be more enjoyable then car buying experience otherwise is, but Alan really exceeded my expectations. More
