Brakes failed after service was performed I had the Brakes checked on my Honda Accord at Wilde (as usual) on 11/22/16 because I was going to be traveling over Christmas to Texas. I had the ba I had the Brakes checked on my Honda Accord at Wilde (as usual) on 11/22/16 because I was going to be traveling over Christmas to Texas. I had the battery and tires replaced also. They shaved the rotors and replaced the brakes in front. Rear brakes were cleaned. I got to Texas safely, but while driving, with no warning (lights didn't come on and I didn't feel any difference in braking) my brakes went completely out. I checked the fluid and it was full. Got it to where I was staying, removed the wheel and saw that the calipers had not been bolted back to the wheel. The bolts where in place but the pad and caliper had fallen off. This could have been a very serious incident. I contacted Wilde and met no resistance with paying for a tow to the nearest Honda Dealership, which was Gunn Honda in San Antonio. Gunn Honda was very accommodating. So I was glad to see that Wilde did the right thing consenting to cover the cost of repairs, however, this was not just a mistake or small issue. This was a very serious mistake that I can't understand how it could have been overlooked. I have received no follow up from Wilde Honda asking me to explain what happened or even an apology. I have always been satisfied going to Wilde, have purchased both of my Accords from them and always had maintenance done there. However, I don't feel I can trust their performance, nor do I feel they have done anything to assure me in any way that I can. More
