Jackie Cobey, sales person extraordinaire , made buying our Subaru Forester the most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. She was courteous, informative, and to give us the experience of the features we were contemplating in a new vehicle, she allowed is to test drive three different models. Jackie did an excellent job explaining the features and on what Forester models these features were either standard or optional. Her positive, helpful attitude and the extra steps she took to find an available vehicle with the features we wanted (the vehicle needed to come from another dealer) were superior to any other dealer salesperson. When we did decide to purchase the vehicle, she explained everything in terms we could understand, and never once did we feel pressured or rushed. She was patient, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful (she helped us with the Bluetooth feature). By far the best car buying experience we’ve ever had! And, by far the best salesperson we’ve ever dealt with! We would not think twice to tell our friends to go to Jackie Cobey if they want to buy a new Subaru! Brett Dumstrey, Business Manager, was very informative about the 3 year/36 month warranty and available extended warranties. We did feel pressured, though, to purchase one of the extended warranty options. After Brett explained everything we felt that we had to make an immediate choice. We could not even discuss the options privately which made us feel a little irritated. I understand that he was doing his job but we did not appreciate his methodology. More

Totally inept staff I purchased a new Forester on 3/24. They had to locate a red one for me and install auto dimming mirrors. At that time, Brad told be that we wou I purchased a new Forester on 3/24. They had to locate a red one for me and install auto dimming mirrors. At that time, Brad told be that we would have to open our credit for them to review. (We had it locked). We were told we would be able to pick up the car on 3/29. We opened our credit for 48 hours on 3/27. I emailed our salesperson, Nick Sadi, and informed him of this and told him to advise the finance Dept. He told me that he did this. On 3/29 Mike Scott told me that the car was in but the mirrors had to be ordered since they didn't have them in inventory and that i would be able to pick up the car the following week. He also said that we would have to sign for the car by 3/31 to get the 0% financing. I told him that my contract did not specify a 3/31 end date for the 0% financing. He then said that he would get the mirrors overnighted. The mirrors came in and we made arrangements to pick up the car at 11am on 4/1. At 101m on 4/1 Mike Scott told me that they needed our credit opened. I told him that I had already done this on 3/27. He told me that they couldn't check it until the car came in and they had the VIN. No one told me this prior to me opening the credit on 3/27,. I told him that he was going to have to pay me the $10 cost of opening it again. We called Transunion but they were closed on Saturday. After much effort, my wife was able to open it online. We then picked up the car at 12:30 on 4/1. There does not seem to be any coordination between departments in this organization. It was very frustrating dealing with them. Every time they had a problem, they tried to make it my problem. At this point, I will not go back to them to purchase a vehicle. I'm worried about their service dept. I hope they perform better than their sales dept. I think Brad and Mike both screwed up and dumped their problems on me. Purchasing this vehicle was NOT a pleasant experience. More
