Just have to say....I really, really, really hate buying cars--the hassle, dealing with high presure sales everything about the process. I have to admit, this this experience was a pretty good one. Just the right mix of persistence and attentiveness without dealing with high presure sales tactics! After extensively searching the web and local dealerships my wife and I ventured forth for the dreaded on site tour of local dealerships in search of a midsize used car. Wilde's web site and pricing made them an attractive prospect. Plenty of inventory on the lot with enough sales staff around. First met Chris on a late afternoon trip to the dealership at closing time. Ended up taking a trip back the following week and looked at several options. When it came down to making the final choice he quickly and efficiently set up some test drives. After much discussion about color--it wasn't looking like the dealer had a model/color/type we were looking for. He was persistent and located a great Toyota Camry with the features and price range we were looking for. Price negotiations were relatively easy and we ended up with a decent competetive price. I hadn't been aware of current financing promos which Chris filled us in on and we ended up with a great deal. Within several hours my wife was driving our new car off the lot. Chris did a terrific job of assisting us through the sales process. He took a low pressure approach and showed a committment to making sure we were satisfied. He kept us well informed through the sales process, was willing to negotiate what we felt was a fair price for the vehicle, and looked up information on Kelly Blue Book to give us piece of mind. The one drawback to the process was the length of time it took for us to be seen by the finance area to sign the loan paperwork as we came in to pick up the car and it took 2.5 hours to be seen. However, it was admittedly busy and Chris checked in with us throughout the wait. The one piece of feedback for the finance area would be that if they know it will be that long of a wait, perhaps they could let the customer know so that we coul have the option to leave, grab a bite to eat, and then come back to finalize things. All in all though, we had a great experience! More
