Even though Wilsonville Toyota-Scion was highly recommended to us, our individual past experiences with car dealerships and car salesmen had us a little on edge going in. We were indeed very pleas recommended to us, our individual past experiences with car dealerships and car salesmen had us a little on edge going in. We were indeed very pleasantly surprised with the courteous and professional conduct of the Wilsonville Toyota-Scion staff & employees, and especially with Don Pendleton. He was very helpful, warm and personable, and there was no pressure at all, from start to finish. We were shown everything that we wanted to see, had the freedom of taking our time to compare vehicles and to ask questions. He was very knowledgeable about individual vehicles and was able to give us factual information on each one, which helped us immensely. After test driving the Toyota Camry and the Prius, we both fell in love with the Camry XLE on its appearance, exterior & interior. We decided on the Camry XLE which was much more than we were intending to purchase, but the difference between it and the LE was well worth the difference in price and we have no regrets at all. Don Pendleton & Nick treated us as we would want to be treated as customers--no pressure, no "switcheroos" or anything like that... Althouth we intend to keep our "Cami" for years to come, we would NOT hesitate to go back to Wilsonville Toyota-Scion car dealership again for future purchases. When I started shopping for a car (Toyota was already the choice), Wilsonville Toyota was immediately recommended as THE dealer to visit. I had some time, so I thought I'd check out the competition first. choice), Wilsonville Toyota was immediately recommended as THE dealer to visit. I had some time, so I thought I'd check out the competition first. My first call went to Gladstone - their internet sales guy was friendly, and after some slightly questionable mathematical gymnastics arrived at a quote of $18,100 for the 2010 Corolla I was interested in. Not bad, but about $900 over what I had figured the price should have been after rebate. Second dealer was Broadway - since they had a used 2009 Corolla ($15,995) to look at I went to the trouble of visiting in person. The 2009 was sold before I got there, so I took the offer to drive a 2011 ($19,700) since they were out of 2010's. All went well until the sales manager decided to insert himself into the conversation. I'd already told the salesman that I was not going to be buying that day (I had to be at work in about 20 min) and I told the manager the same thing. Turns out the manager didn't listen too well. Off he launched into the "Better buy it now or they will be all gone tomorrow" high pressure sales pitch. The manager lost the dealership that chance for my business in that moment. After trying to stop the pitch several times I basically had to walk out. Another day, another dealer. Number three on the list was Gresham. Like Gladstone, a friendly sale rep and a quote of $18,300. Now I was almost $1100 over what the price should have been, based off dealer invoice minus the $1000 rebate. Having set the baseline I called Wilsonville and spoke with Sean Day, whom I had been assured would give me the best possible price with no BULL. When I told Sean what I was looking for and the price I was trying to hit, his first response was, "I think I just sold the last 2010 Corolla." And this is where the difference really starts to show! After running the numbers on a couple of 2011's for me, Sean could obviously tell the prices were higher than I was hoping for, so he asked if he could get back to me in about an hour. Sure thing. I gave him an email address and sat back to wait. Within the hour my email was waiting. Sean had found me a 2010, in the right color, with the right options. Price? $17290. And there is was ... right where the price was supposed to be after the rebate, and NO BULL! Needless to say, I bought the car a couple days later, and the experience at the showroom was everything I would have expected. Paperwork was lined up before I got there, and with a minimal amount of signing (and of course a little waiting), I was out the door with my new car! Bottom line: Sean Day / Wilsonville Toyota will get every recommendation I have the chance to make. More
We bought our Durango for 13 years ago and remember the ridiculous amount of hours we spent at the dealership during that purchase, so we where a little apprehensive about doing it all over again. Working ridiculous amount of hours we spent at the dealership during that purchase, so we where a little apprehensive about doing it all over again. Working with Rob was awesome. He was very honest, humorous and informative. He answered all our questions and made it very easy for us to make the right choices. Our experience buying a new truck from Rob was so much better than we could have hoped for and we thank him very much for that. We did not feel any pressure during our visit and was very satisfied when we left. I will definitely recommend Rob to friends and family now and in the future. (P.S. Love the Truck!!!) More
Went in to pick up a used Ford. Car was in excellent shape. I had an easy time dealing with Chad, and he was the only person I had to deal with. No pushy sales managers or finance people. They gave m shape. I had an easy time dealing with Chad, and he was the only person I had to deal with. No pushy sales managers or finance people. They gave me a very fair price for the car, and didn't push any extra warrantys or anything after I explained that I wasn't interested in them. Chad was very easy to work with, and the car has been excellent so far, even after driving it 1000 miles in 2 days. My only complaint would be that they messed up my paperwork, and I had to re-fill out everything a second time. Also, they forgot to include some title payments into my original quote, however the difference is minimal. They worked hard and fast to correct the mistake, though, which I appreciated. Car was washed and detailed nicely. Carfax and inspection notes were provided. If I need a new car in the near future, and I'm in the Wilsonville area again, I'd return in a heartbeat. More
We recently bought a 2011 Toyota Prius and our sales person was Bobby (Rob)Kupper. I should add at the onset that we came to Wilsonville Toyota because two of our relatives had just purchased new vehic person was Bobby (Rob)Kupper. I should add at the onset that we came to Wilsonville Toyota because two of our relatives had just purchased new vehicles from Rob and were extremely impressed with his customer service. Having just retired after working for 25 years in a professional service organization (law firm) in which client service was a key organizational value, I was somewhat skeptical about the claims from some of the ads for Wilsonville based on multiple prior experiences with car dealerships. I even kidded Rob about the title on his business card of "Customer Advocate." In our dealings with Rob, he totally validated the title on his business card and the assertions by Wilsonville Toyota about how their sales process is different from other deals were definitely accurate. The last time we bought a Toyota at another dealer, we essentially walked out because after four hours of painful negotiations, redundant meetings with different layers of sales people and mispresentations, we were done. The sales manager intercepeted us at the door and offered us the original deal we had negotiated. At Wilsonville, we dealt only with Rob who was extremely knowledgeable, verified all the information and responded to the many questions we had. He did not waste time pressuring us when we told him that we were not interested in some extras or various financing options, came out to the dealership outside his normal schedule to meet our timeline and followed up promptly on additional details to finalize the transaction. In summary, we felt that Rob was definitely our advocate during the entire process and overall it was a very pleasant experience. To describe (in writing, no less) the purchase of a new car as a "pleasant experience" still amazes me, but we will definitely return to Rob and Wilsonville the next time we are in the market and would definitely recommend him and the dealership. Nick was an exceptional salesperson and a credit to your dealership. We have had a few other experiences haggling with other salespeople in the past, but no other like that which we experienced at your esta dealership. We have had a few other experiences haggling with other salespeople in the past, but no other like that which we experienced at your establishment. No pressure was the name of the game and a fair price from the start under the blue book value was very much appreciated. In addition, he even took time out of his day to deliver the car to our house a hour away! That is service! :) Thank you, Armand, Stacey, & Bobby Bankhead More

My experience here was excellent. My husband and I were looking for a used Toyota Prius and while searching online I found a listing for one here with a "call the dealer for price". I generally think that looking for a used Toyota Prius and while searching online I found a listing for one here with a "call the dealer for price". I generally think that if you can't price a car online either the price is exorbitant or you don't necessarily quote the same price to everyone. But I decided to call anyway. I spoke with Don Pendleton who told me the price and advised me to come up there as soon as possible as it would go fast. The price was good for what the car advertised and I did want to go there that day (Friday), but as it was almost 2 hours from where I live south of Eugene and we would only be able to leave after my husband finished work, so we put it off until Saturday morning. I was happy to do so because I wanted to work with Don as even if phone manner was kind and forthright. After the horror stories I've read, never having been to one before I wanted to deal with the most honorable person that I could. He turned out to be just that person. We showed up there at 9:10 AM (they opened at 9) and were greeted by a receptionist who called Don down from his office for us. The dealership was pristine and very well organized. In fact, they even had a place were you could hang out and just use the web (they have free wi-fi) and they had snacks and drinks as well as TV to watch while you wait for service on your vehicle. He was everything that I had hoped he would be - straightforward, friendly, but not intrusive, and good-natured. He gave us a tour of the whole place and told us their no-bull policy and then showed us the car. We were able to test drive it with him and it was just as advertised. He told us everything he knew about the vehicle and its history and was honest with us when he didn't know the answer to something that we asked. He helped us with all of the paperwork in order to purchase the car and no one else but he helped us as advertised. When we told him that we would rather have the car inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing so we wouldn't have to kick ourselves later if there was something wrong, he agreed to waive the return fee for that day so that we could take the car to our mechanic and return it if need be or keep it without having to return to the dealership otherwise. The car checked out with a great battery and was pronounced a very good deal by our mechanic which we had thought (and hoped) would be the case. Frankly, compared to most of the legitimate Prius' I was for sale on the market (both dealer and owner) in my area and throughout the west coast it was an fabulous deal. We were and are incredibly satisfied with our purchase and Don even followed up with us the following week to see how things were going (Sorry Don, I'm notoriously bad about getting back to people!). We also met the owner of the dealership and were able to speak to him briefly and found him to be a decent chap. All in all, a great experience - I would definitely go there again to purchase another car and would recommend them to my family and friends. I can now see why they have so many good reviews on dealerrater.com and why they sell more cars than any dealership in the state. More
Dealers "No Bull" sales policy is what every dealer should strive to do. Nick was completely knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to demonstrate every feature including setting up the b dealer should strive to do. Nick was completely knowledgeable about the vehicle and was able to demonstrate every feature including setting up the blue tooth option to work with our telephones before letting us leave the lot. And there was a full tank of gas, a nice touch. Another nice touch was being able to do the Washington state vehicle sales tax and registration even though we were purchasing the car in Oregon. More time saved! The dealership is modern and spotless with a nice waiting room if your waiting for your car to be serviced. Although we don't expect to use this dealership for servicing our vehicles (we live 4 hours away) it was nevertheless well worth the drive to make this purchase. All of the employees we met or even just had eye contact with, including the guys who washed and cleaned up the car while we were signing all the paperwork, were friendly and helpful. I give this dealership a 5-star "No Bull" rating! More

I am reasonably knowledgeable when it comes to what I want, and I don't respond well to pressure or staff who don't know their products. In the four years this dealership has been open, my wife and I have bought four Toyotas from them. In fact, my wife was impressed enough when I got my 2008 Land Cruiser that she would go only to Wilsonville Toyota to replace her RAV4. Scott was very helpful in getting me into my 2011 Land Cruiser even though I was upside down in my pretty new 2010 Lexus GX460, which didn't have enough Land Cruiser character for me. I have also found the service and parts departments to be very good with customers. I have received good quality care for my vehicle and service and parts personnel try to make sure the work is right the first time. Scott worked through enough of the deal over the phone to allow me to make the decision to drive the 40 miles to Wilsonville. That helped a bunch because I know what ballpark I was in before I even saw the Land Cruiser. My experience is that only the more forward-thinking dealerships will do some up-front work over the phone. More
