This review is a total fabrication. We are willing to assist the customer with this vehicle. Customer purchased an aftermarket warranty from their credit union that is not sending an inspector to determine what the cause of failure is. We offered to tear down the vehicle at our cost to determine the issue. The vehicle inspected by two outside sources prior to sale one being the GMC Dealer two days prior to purchase. Both passed inspection. Even the customers mechanic said something just let go in the bottom of the engine indigenous of age of vehicle (11 years old) and over 100,000 miles. Never did we turn our back on this customer. I talked to the customer three times while I was out of town on business to make sure they were getting the help they needed. In order for us to help which we are still willing to do we need the customer to give us their warranty information which to this date they still have not. We have to exhaust all avenues before deciding what we can contribute to this repair. Customer ONLY wants us to put a brand new engine $6000 and pay for all labor $1750. Customer is unwilling to accept anything else and is being very difficult. Our commitment to our customer is still available but at this time they still wont even take my call. Customer bought an 11 year old car with over 100k, declined our warranty and wants dealer to put a brand new engine even though they bought a warranty from someone else. Do you think they are giving their credit union a difficult time since they sold them the warranty??? The answer is no. They were told by the credit union that it was a preexisting failure and they can't help. Warranty contracts clearly state that they have to do an inspection to determine cause of failure. Customer still won't release warranty information to this date. I will let you be the judge... Ralph
