Mr. John Russo (2714), was my service rep. and he took my car in for an express oil change as expected. That was really my reason to go to Woburn Toyota because it was on my way and they offered this expres car in for an express oil change as expected. That was really my reason to go to Woburn Toyota because it was on my way and they offered this express service. 10 minutes later, Mr. Russo paged me and gave me the low down of the status of my car. Instead of just rambling off a list of problems found, he took me into the garage while my car was on the lift. We were actually under the car while he pointed out the extensive oil leak off the pan gasket, showed me how the sway bar bushings deterioration hence it wasn't grabbing as tightly as it should, and pointed out to me a few other items which needed attention in the future. The mechanic also took out the air filter and it was filthy with pieces of dry leaves stuck on it. The PCV Valve also need to be replaced. They also told me the built up brake dust which had been causing noise sporadically while I braked. Ok, by this time, I was ready to sell my car and look for a new one. About 4.5 hours later, all the repairs were done and with a 10% discount, and MA sales tax came to $614.60. They told me the reason why it took so long was because the excessive seal gunk left over at the oil pan gasket needed to be completely cleaned out, resealed with the fresh seal except this time they let it sit in order to seal properly. I have monitored the mechanic at work from the outside window and he indeed worked on my car the whole time except for one smoke break during that 4.5 hours duration. I have been going to Watertown Toyota service department since I bought this car new from the same dealership. This car has serves me well but it is a ten year old car with just over 160 K on it. I have been meticulously and faithfully kept up with the maintenance. The last two years it cost me close to $3,000 on repair costs. I must confess the verdict is still out on the quality of repairs made to my car at Woburn Toyota. But one thing is certain, they charged quite a bit less than Watertown Toyota and I was given both visual and verbal explanation before the work. Since my car has been maintained well externally and from the look of the undercarriage, there are no rusts or any sign of deterioration. My fingers are crossed that with this repairs done at Woburn, I might be able to drive this car for a little while longer yet. Who knows, 200 k, 250 k, or how about 300 k? Dare I dream! I will probably write a follow-up review when I take my car in for another 3,000 miles oil change. Please stay tune. More

I was so pleased with the high level of customer service provided by Rick, that I decided to take all my vehicles including my non Toyotas to this facility. In a industry that is not known for its staight forward and honest business dealings, it is refreshing to know that Rick represents the total opposite. I would recommend anyone to take any make vehicile to this location and if possible do business with Rick. More
I went there for an oil change and tire rotation and couldn't have been happier with the service I got from John Russo. Very accommodating even though I had no appointment. Very friendly. Clearly explained what needed to be done to the car, and set time expectations that were 100% correct. I went to the dealership not only for a regular service but because, on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, when I turned my car on, it sounded like someone started a lawn mower or I suddenly had dual exhaust! I bro but because, on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, when I turned my car on, it sounded like someone started a lawn mower or I suddenly had dual exhaust! I brought my car in right away to the Express Service. Rick Mawn was there to greet me and he even remembered who I was and what car I drive!! He was terrific! I had to wait for the service but the waiting area was clean, there were beverage options and the television was on. A short while later, Rick called me to the counter for an update...BAD NEWS...my catalytic converter was gone...that would cost around $1200!!! BUT, as luck would have it, this particular part was still covered under warranty! Phew! Unfortunately, Rick had to order the part. He was very apologetic. He told me he would call me as soon as the part came in but he anticipated that it would be in the next day. He called the next day to tell me that the part was not in. Again, he was very apologetic. I was extremely happy with the attention he was giving my car. On Sunday, the part was in. I told Rick that I might not be able to get there to drop off the car and asked if there was a drop box for the keys. He said yes, but that worst case scenario, he would COME BACK to get them! Now THAT is customer service--someone willing to come back on his own time! Unfortunately, later in the day, I received another call from Rick...a wrinkle in the plan...the muffler needed to be replaced. Rick apologized again, especially for not having known about the muffler the day I brought the car in. He also needed to order the part and unfortunately, there was no warranty. So I planned that I would not have my car until tomorrow. But the parts department was "pro-active," Rick said, so they were able to get my part and get my car done today! Rick was there when I picked up my car and apologized one more time! Of course, none of this was in his control, but he provided me with the utmost cosideration and the most excellent customer service! This is why, even though I bought my car at a different dealership, I ALWAYS bring my car to Woburn.
