The guy who helped me was completely overworked. He was dealing with 5 different customers when the rest of the employees were on their phones or chatting with each other. He told me that my car would be done around 4pm but I got a text that they started working on that car at 4:15pm. They finally finished my car right when they were closing at 6pm. Please make sure that these people are given an equal amount of work so then customers aren’t left waiting for over two hours their expected wait time. More

Our experience at Wondries Toyota in Alhambra was pretty seamless. Our salesperson, Gilbert, was polite, eager and professional. He went above & beyond by even coming in on his day off so that we could put a deposit down on the vehicle (a vehicle whose specs made it a rare find, and rapidly disappearing from other dealerships). He understood our cautious approach, as we had not purchased a new vehicle for several years and the buying landscape and specifics had changed drastically due to the pandemic a few years back. We were able to communicate with him by text, also, to ensure that a certain dealer-installed option which we did not want would not be installed once the vehicle arrived at the dealership. Gilbert immediately saw to it that our concerns and request were communicated to his manager and ultimately the vehicle was delivered just as we’d requested. We had had a very frustrating few months at other dealerships, which had made promises we weren’t sure they would honor, and one ultimately reneged on moving forward with the deal after we’d made an initial deposit. We even had to repeatedly request that particular dealership refund our deposit. Another dealership sat us down to kindly inform us that because the vehicle we wanted was so ‘popular’ we ‘had to understand’ they would be ‘adding  $5,000 to the MSRP’ -- at which point we literally walked out the door. But none of this was the case at Wondries. Adolfo the Finance Manager was also very patient with us on the night we moved ahead with purchasing the vehicle. We had come after work, and it was very close to closing once we’d had a chance to test drive and inspect the vehicle after it had been delivered. Adolfo was very honest with us about certain contract provisions he felt we did not need to purchase, and also immediately fit us into his schedule when we decided not to go with our original financing option, and returned instead to Wondries -- because they had been honest with us. So, we have very good things to say about them. Purchasing a vehicle can be a long ordeal, but at Wondries we never felt they were trying to railroad us into a decision, or that they were withholding information or trying to steer the deal to their benefit. As a result they got our business and we’d be happy to recommend them to others. More
