The value of a smaller dealer is in the way they are able to treat customers. I went in and being treated by amazing Felishea and then José. I told them exactly what I was looking for and the price range and payments I wanted (I did my extensive research already, so I knew what the going market was, no unreasonable ask). José came back 5 minutes (!!!) later (no waiting games, no back and forth hassles) with an offer matching my ask. I took the offer, told them I’ll think about it. They were very nice and real, no xx, no haggling, no “what else can I do to convince you”, just clean, nice doing normal business and transparency. I went to a few other dealers, including the big AutoNation in Cerritos (they suck and will screw you when selling, when servicing a car ($2000 for an alternator replacement + $200 for “diagnosis”). None of them could match Cabe’s INITIAL offer!!! Not only that, but: 1. I preferred black color, which they didn’t have in stock and they called around and found one at a different dealer and got it for me at the same price. Unbeatable! 2. Discussion came about returning my Mazda lease and they said they can take it as a trade-in and match or even beat CarMax’s offer I got online. Amazing! I returned to Cabe Toyota and shook hands on their deal. They worked hard and got everything ready (it was already late in the day) by next morning, before the year end. They really “Make it easy” (Toyota’s slogan)!!! They also gave me some good deal on maintenance (some good freebies and some extra). The best dealer I have ever interacted with in the last 25 years, by far, hands down! No haggling, no games, no xx, no hidden charges when signing, no push for anything I didn’t need (Angel was also amazing on the finance side). This is now my family’s dealer for life. If you ever shop for a Toyota, Cabe’s is where you should go. Check them out then see if you like them. Thank you José, Felishea, Angel! The most pleasant experience ever!

Very nice and professional staff. My father and I were helped by a young man by the name of Andre he was able to go back and forth answering various questions and needs about purchasing a new truck. He was very polite, very knowledgeable about features on the vehicle, and overall a pleasure to purchase a vehicle from. Additionally, Sandra the General Sales Manager was a big help making sure the vehicle we spoke about over the phone was what we wanted and at a reasonable price. Both Andre and Sandra made the whole experience a very pleasant one. We spoke back and forth over a few days but at the end we were able to go home and surprise my Brother with a wonderful new car for his Birthday. The vehicle was washed, full tank of gas, and the dealership and staff were friendly and nice. Purchased Vehicle: 2026 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4. If I could leave any other feedback for the dealer it would only be positive; as there was not a single problem with the whole process.

I would like to extend my highest praise 10 stars to Toyota of Santa Monica, particularly to Arnold Funes, the Internet Sales Manager. After conducting some research last night, I became interested in leasing a brand new Toyota Prius XLE. I submitted an inquiry through an automated system that notifies all Toyota dealers, and by morning, Arnold was the first to reach out to me. At 11 a.m. sharp, Arnold was ready to discuss the details. He texted me, saying, "It's Arnold from Toyota Santa Monica. We can do $3,000 down and $380 per month. That's the best offer I can provide for you." A few hours later, I was inundated with calls from various Toyota dealers across Southern California, each employing the same sales tactics. However, none of them came close to matching Arnold's offer. Even after I shared the details of Arnold's proposal, many dealers expressed skepticism and joked that I might be getting played. Ultimately, the deal went through, and I ended up with an even better offer. This dealership is genuinely committed to their customers, and Arnold's dedication and work ethic certainly deserve recognition and a raise. I wholeheartedly recommend Toyota of Santa Monica to anyone serious about leasing a new vehicle. If you're in the market, this is the place to go.

Over the course of two full weekends, my vehicle was held—first for a repair, then again to correct a repair that should never have occurred. Despite the extended inconvenience, no rental vehicle was offered, and my RAV4 was returned with an empty gas tank. The consequences were not just frustrating—they were dangerous. Shortly after pickup, my RAV4 stalled on the 60 freeway, one of the busiest highways in the area. I was stranded in traffic and could have been hit. This was a direct result of your team’s failure to return my vehicle in safe, drivable condition. Today was going to be the last time I ever came to this dealership for service--because of how bad the experience was when Randy Doan was not here. Ironically, the only reason I ever got to meet Randy was because of that terrible service experience. I left a review, and Randy personally reached out to me. That call completely changed my perception of this service department. Randy Doan is an exceptional asset to this dealership, and he is the only reason I drive nearly 40 miles to have my car serviced here when there are at least four or five Toyota dealerships much closer to me. Unlike another manager I dealt with during Randy's absence, Andy actually listens. He does not dismiss concerns, minimize issues, or deflect responsibility--he addresses problems head-on and follows through. The other manager Andy was, quite frankly, absolutely useless. When I heard Randy was back from his leave today, I was genuinely elated. While he was out, I needed basic information from the service manager for an insurance claim after another car hit me. What should have been a simple request turned into an exhausting, frustrating ordeal--it was like pulling teeth. Randy's professionalism, responsiveness, and accountability stand in stark contrast to how poorly the service department was managed without him. I truly hope this dealership understands what a gem he is, because I am certain I am not the only customer who continues servicing their vehicle here solely because of him. If Randy had not returned, I would never come back. The only reason this dealership receives five stars from me is because of Randy Doan., WITHOUT RANDY HERE ZERO STAR IS TOO MANY FOR THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT'S MANAGEMENT. I sincerely hope leadership recognizes his value--and also understands just how awful service management was in his absence.

I had an excellent run through the entire process from first introduction to Michael C to signing on the dotted line to complete the purchase of my Corolla hybrid. I like to think I have a pretty laid-back approach to life so Michael certainly had to encompass a chunk of my sometimes wacky sense of humor when dealing with me (and particularly my dodgy eyesight without my reading glasses). He walked me through the paperwork excellently so there were no surprises or guess work needed from start to finish. A good amount of patience too particularly with my bank when it became apparent that there was a transaction limit I wasn't aware of that was lower than the deposit I wanted to put down. Bottom line is don't hesitate in visiting this dealership if you're after a new car.
