I worked with a guy named Angel. Horrible service. Every time I asked him for a final "out the door price" he would stop responding. He did it two days in a row. I'm on my third day Horrible service. Contacted Wondries explained my problem, service rep extremely helpful, Nelson guided me through the entire ordeal. On his day off, he text me and follow-up on my situation. We wanted to leave the dealership and someone else back stopped us from leaving.. well duh for his commission.. We ended up getting a 29k car for over 43k!! With TIER 1 credit!! Abigail, the finance manager put service contract, pre-paid maintenance, gap and wheel and tire protection!! When I didn't want any of these stuff. She basically said it came with the car and bumped up my payment. I asked how the service contract worked.. she said it was extended warranty for when after my manufacture warranty expired.. that cost an additional 4k!! Well guess what ! I am still covered under factory warranty and I am getting rid of this car BECAUSE they told me it came with incorporated GPS AND it doesn't!!! I asked for a refund for all of those extra things she put and they are only refunding me half of what I purchased it for!! THIS DEALER IS A SCAM!!!! AVOID GOING HERE !!!! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU BEING PROTECTED!!! I PURCHASED A NEW CAR 2023 LEXUS AND WALKED OUT WITH A LOWER PAYMENT THEN WHAT I WAS PAYING ON A TOYOTA!!!! STAY AWAY ! I bought two Toyota Corolla cars over a period of 23 years and had never failed a smog check. Due to Covid situation I rarely used my 2010 car in the last two years (less than 20,000 miles), and for th years and had never failed a smog check. Due to Covid situation I rarely used my 2010 car in the last two years (less than 20,000 miles), and for the first time the car failed the biennial smog check ("OBD II Monitor Not Ready") not just once, but four times. As my registration would expire in a few days, desperately, I went to Wondries Toyota Alhambra yesterday and talked to Mr. Di Wu, who listened to me and answered every question with great patience and clarity. Mr. Wu said he would perform the inspection of my car converter and oxygen sensor, and also a professional freeway drive cycle procedure. Abel, a young, polite, and diligent technitient, would take care of the procedure. As my car had to stay overnight, and I had no transportation to go home, Mr. Wu (so grateful to him for his kindness and professionalism) arranged for Abel to drive me home before he went on the freeway to do the procedure. I had a small chat with Abel on the ride home. I asked him whether he liked this job, and I saw his eyes light up with a big smile and said yes he loved this job very much ( a young man will achieve a lot ahead with such passion and enjoyment for his job). Yesterday evening, Mr. Wu called me and said my car was ready to be picked up the next day. Both the car converter and oxygen sensor turned out to be fine (or I had to pay a few thousand to replace them), and I ended up with a very small bill to remove this nightmare that had been torturing me for weeks. I went to pick up my car this morning and wanted to personally thank both Mr. Wu and Abel, but didn't see them there, and John, who is also very nice and professional, went over the paperwork with me, answered my questions and directed me to pick up my car. Afterwards I drove to the smog check station and finally passed the dreadful test. A very happy day indeed! Thank you these excellent Toyota employees! More
Horrible customer experience from two different departments. Already submitted all details as well as uploaded all requested picture angles and was provided an offer range, but wanted to see if there was someone available to verify condition and provide a concrete offer amount. I explained that I didn't have an appointment but hoped to meet with someone from the used car department and was told that no one was available, that only the manager Robert Flores could do appraisals and he was tied up all day. An assistant sales manager told me that he could only help me quicker if I was planning to trade-in the car and buy a new car. A different salesperson approached me and assured me that he would schedule an appointment with Robert to come back three days later, but no one phoned back to confirm appointment as promised. Instead, I received two text messages from different sales people asking about my interest in purchasing the model I was looking to sell, and an email from an internet director promising a follow up call with also never happened. Since my car was nearing a maintenance service, I made a service appointment in case I would be back at the dealership for the appraisal. I ended up cancelling the appointment since no one had contacted me, but I strangely received an email with a "service repair summary" for the appointment that I cancelled--it turned out my name and contact info was wrongly associated with a car that I don't even own!! This place is a hot mess. Best to avoid unless you don't care about any follow up or follow through, or if you're fine having your information mixed with other customer profiles. More
