I bought two Toyota Corolla cars over a period of 23 years and had never failed a smog check. Due to Covid situation I rarely used my 2010 car in the last two years (less than 20,000 miles), and for th years and had never failed a smog check. As my registration would expire in a few days, desperately, I went to Wondries Toyota Alhambra yesterday and talked to Mr. Di Wu, who listened to me and answered every question with great patience and clarity. Mr. Wu said he would perform the inspection of my car converter and oxygen sensor, and also a professional freeway drive cycle procedure. Abel, a young, polite, and diligent technitient, would take care of the procedure. As my car had to stay overnight, and I had no transportation to go home, Mr. Wu (so grateful to him for his kindness and professionalism) arranged for Abel to drive me home before he went on the freeway to do the procedure. I had a small chat with Abel on the ride home. I asked him whether he liked this job, and I saw his eyes light up with a big smile and said yes he loved this job very much ( a young man will achieve a lot ahead with such passion and enjoyment for his job). Yesterday evening, Mr. Wu called me and said my car was ready to be picked up the next day. Both the car converter and oxygen sensor turned out to be fine (or I had to pay a few thousand to replace them), and I ended up with a very small bill to remove this nightmare that had been torturing me for weeks. I went to pick up my car this morning and wanted to personally thank both Mr. Wu and Abel, but didn't see them there, and John, who is also very nice and professional, went over the paperwork with me, answered my questions and directed me to pick up my car. Afterwards I drove to the smog check station and finally passed the dreadful test. A very happy day indeed! Thank you these excellent Toyota employees! More

It is incredible that such a thing could happen to such a big car manufacturer. By the way, this safe is the one we bought this pickup truck. I wouldn’t question that on a busy weekend but not on a slow Tuesday. I used to go in on Saturdays where the line was out the lot and they would still be faster than they are now. More
