We saw a truck online and decided we wanted to see it since it appeared to be a good deal. We started working with the dealer over 2 weeks in advance so we could narrow everything down. Finally the weeke since it appeared to be a good deal. We started working with the dealer over 2 weeks in advance so we could narrow everything down. Finally the weekend came along that we were going to go up there. Once we arrived we waited for an hour and a half for the truck to be brought around (we called before leaving the house so it would be ready) when the truck pulled around it was very loud. We started to look over the truck and the outside looked good, when we opened the hood we saw a little rust (no big deal), but then we looked under the truck and discovered that the exhaust system had rusted through and was hanging down. We decided to take the truck for a test drive anyway. Once on the road the truck pulled hard to the left and the entire front end shook when you put on the brakes. I would expect this if it were a new trade, but looking at the Carfax it had been on the lot for over a year and was advertised as a "certified used car" which had undergone the 100 point safety inspection. This was the most dangerous vehicle I had EVER driven. Before we left the house the dealer told us that the oil pan had been replaced recently for a leak and didn't want any surprises. So, how did they miss the exhaust system and why in the world would you show a truck like that. After seeing the condition of the truck we didn't feel comfortable buying any car from them. Overall it was the worst dealership I have every visited. More
Great dealership! Nothing like the old Woody's, they really wanted us there and worked very hard to get us the deal that worked for us, treated us like family, and we loved the Christian feeling to the really wanted us there and worked very hard to get us the deal that worked for us, treated us like family, and we loved the Christian feeling to the business. These guys are good at what they do and they will try everything they can to get a deal done. Just like the radio says WOW Woody's! More
I found the used vehicle I was interested in online, and the buying experience was uneventful, no surprises and no extra fees. I carefully researched the vehicle I planned to purchase and the one I traded. the buying experience was uneventful, no surprises and no extra fees. I carefully researched the vehicle I planned to purchase and the one I traded. Yes, it does take three hours to take a complete test drive, evaluate the trade, negotiate and do the paperwork even on a cash deal. Sales and admin personnel were professional, personable and knowledgeable. Sales people accurately disclosed known defects which I was able to easily repair. In all, I was able to beat the book value by $3-4 thousand and I was satisfied with the outcome, condition of the vehicle and the transaction. No one relishes a car-buying experience, however this one, well-planned, went off as advertised. More
Purchased a used 2009 Dodge Ram truck today best prices in a 200 mile radius from Kansas City. Polly had everything ready to go when we arrived, they gave us a fair trade on our older truck. I do NOT recommend this dealership. They utilize strong-arm tactics and deal in junk. We arrived at 2 pm on a Saturday. The place was a madhouse. Even though we'd called and arranged an appointme strong-arm tactics and deal in junk. We arrived at 2 pm on a Saturday. The place was a madhouse. Even though we'd called and arranged an appointment, we had to wait an hour to drive a vehicle. We drove several, no hassle there. We did make an offer on a vehicle, which was not nearly as nice as it had been represented to be. They refused to come down on the price, even though it was priced above Blue Book by several hundred. They gave us a trade-in value on our vehicle. It was not enough, we negotiated for new tires. In the middle of our negotiation, Polly stood up and said, You all have gone cold on me" and sent in a different salesperson! We continued negotiations (God knows why, they were so pushy), and eventually they went up $1000 on our trade, enough to make the difference. By this time, however, I had gotten a terrible feeling about the vehicle and the dealership in general. We moved to leave. They spent another 30 minutes in the back office before offering us another $1000 on our trade. We FINALLY left, disgusted with the whole process and just not interested anymore. They called us later and offered us an additional $500 on our trade. For those of you keeping track, they increased their offer $2500 from the time we came in. These people give used car salesmen a bad name. More
