After struggling with an issue that other Kia dealerships brushed off or failed to resolve, I finally found a team that tr I received at Yonkers Kia. From the start, Giancarlo Carusone went above and beyond to listen, take my concerns seriously, and make sure the problem was properly diagnosed. Their professionalism, patience, and genuine dedication to helping me stood out immediately. They kept me updated every step of the way and treated me with respect, making me feel like more than just another customer. Thanks to Giancarlo, Alfredo, and the service department, my issue was finally resolved, and my car is running better than ever. This is what customer service should be—knowledgeable, attentive, and committed to finding solutions. If you’re looking for a Kia dealership that will actually put in the effort to take care of you, I highly recommend Yonkers Kia. I will definitely be returning here for all of my service needs. My experience with Yonkers Kia had been incredible! My first encounter first came when we bought our Telluride from the General Manager Mike Romano who treated my family like it was his family. From a professional perspective, he treated us fairly, he negotiated in good faith while under promising and then over delivering on everything that was agreed on during our negotiations. As important, maybe more important was Mike then went on to introduce me to his service manager Howie Missbach who took the mantle from Mike and treated my family with the same courtesy and professionalism (and by the way a great guy) that I received from the first time we stepped foot in the Kia showroom. I end with this…I would wholeheartedly recommend Yonkers Kia to anyone looking to purchase or have their vehicle serviced who is also looking to deal with folks from management to salespeople to service personnel who will treat you with respect and fairness that one deserves / demands when dealing with a car dealer and with Yonkers KIA, that’s exactly what we have experienced Thank you!! This is just a follow up of my negative review of July 30 (see below). As requested on August 2nd, I called Mike Romano, General Manager. They told me he was not available and would return until Thursday. I requested his voicemail and left a message, including my phone number and requested that he contact me when he returns. I left another voicemail on Mike Romano’s (General Manager) voicemail on Friday, August 8th. Here we are almost two weeks later, and still ZERO follow-up from the dealership. I don’t know why I expected a response, as the management positions in car dealerships are partially based on commissions, the more they rip off the unexpected customer, the more they find in their paycheck. I just took my 2023 Kia Sportage in for minor services (NYS State Inspection, Oil Change, and Tire Rotation). As a precaution, I marked the tires so that I could confirm that they were rotated. After waiting about 2 1/2 hours, I was told the car was ready. I paid the bill, which included the charge and statement that the tires were rotated. I immediately observed that the tires, as marked were in their original positions and NOT ROTATED! I saw the person that identified himself as the sales manager sitting in his office (he did not introduce himself, there were no business cards available on his desk or name plate on his desk or door. I expressed my concerns and he did not immediately respond. When I asked what he thought, he simply said he was totally embarrased, got up and left his office. He left me standing in service; I assumed he was going to the service desk. I never saw or spoke to him again on that visit. Based on the service writers reactions, he must have briefed them. All I heard them saying in hushed tones was "he marked the tires." Based on everyones reaction, it did not seem to be that they were surprised by what happened, but shocked that they got caught. I told them I wanted my car with the tires rotated and completed within 15 minutes, which they did. NO EXPLANATION, NO SERVICE MANAGER, NO PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE TO WHAT HAPPENED, NO FOLLOW-UP. I waited two business days before posting my experience online to warn other potential customers.
