Buyer Beware!!! I purchased a 2006 Toyota Sequoia from Buyer Beware!!! I purchased a 2006 Toyota Sequoia from this dealership last month. The service and friendliness when making my purchase was great, so Buyer Beware!!! I purchased a 2006 Toyota Sequoia from this dealership last month. The service and friendliness when making my purchase was great, so much so that I was sold on the Resistall treatment as well as the Toyota Extended Warranty. The appointment for Resistall was two weeks out, no big deal. During the time from my purchase date to my Resistall appointment (2 Weeks) I found some problems with my Sequoia. The rear window when trying to roll it down fell off the tracks, my seat warmer didn't work and my lumbar didn't work. Since I had a warranty (30 day Dealer Warranty as well as a Toyota Extended Warranty) I contacted my salesman and he said he would let them know and they would check it out when I brought my truck in for the Resistall treatment. I dropped my truck off and I spoke to Devi who had sold me the warranty and she said it should be covered and provided me loaner car stating I should have my car back the next day. This was how long the Resistall treatment would take and there "seemed" to be no issues with fixing the my recently purchased Sequoia. Marty was my contact in service and Nate was my salesman. I called Marty the next day and he didn't know if they were done with my car or not. He found out and contacted me very quickly yet informed me that they were slammed in service and therefore he couldn't get to my car until after the weekend. No big deal, I understood and contacted him after the weekend. When I contacted him he hadn't had a chance to see it yet and I waited another day. Next he had to contact my warranty company to find out what they covered. I thought this was odd seeing how I just purchased this car. When I called him again he acted surprised and said someone was suppose to contact me about my warranty. Apparently NOTHING was covered. When I inquired about he "Young Buick GMC 30 Day warranty" he said "Oh that's just for the power train." He said he would see what they can do and he would have Roger Young call me. He never called, some guy name Jake call me and said there is nothing they can do however he will work with me on pricing to get these items fixed. No call from Marty to inform me about pricing. I tried to contact Debi who was the service manager and left her a message letting her know how dissatisfied I was with the purchase of my vehicle and SHE never called back. It has now been 2 they've had my truck and when I called Marty yet again he finally checked on pricing and told me the window would be $800 the seat warmer would be $1574 and the lumbar would be a $500ish. Again I discovered these issues within the first week and told my salesman figuring they did a "72 point inspection" and there should be nothing wrong with my car. My husband ran down to go get our car and no one was available to talk to him. The receptionist instead made excuses and could do nothing to help. Never once did they contact me and basically they got paid what do they care. I have never had such horrible service....ever. I can not believe that a company wouldn't back up and do what is right with the sale of the car. More
I bought a two year old car from Young Pontiac-Buick-GMC. The car was missing a trim part and the salesperson, Alex, stated that they would either take it off the price of the car or order it. After completing the sale, the part price ($1200) was not taken off the sale price but assured me they would have the part when I picked up my license plate. Fast forward three weeks and Alex pretended not to remember the conversation and no part was ordered. I emailed Spencer Young directly, but basically only got a shoulder-shrug. Do not buy from any Young automotive dealer, you'll get ripped off and lied to, like me. Ironically, I've had my eye on a model in stock at this dealer now. I think I'm going to go "tire-kicking" and test driving just to waste $1200 worth of some poor schmuck salesperson's time. More
I needed to take my suv in for repair and was asking friends and family of a good establishment that was reliable and had a great work ethic. I was told about Young Buick gmc from a family member who has purchased/ and had service with them before.I was reluctant to go considering it was a dealership. But i figured i would give it a go. It turns out i was very pleased with there workmenship and service. The service department was very friendly and answered all my concerns and i was in and out in a timely manner. The service departments employee ( Marty) was excellent, friendly, polite to all my concerns and situation i was in. The cost was great and the time lost without my vehicle was minimal. great workmanship. I will definitely come back again and tell everyone about Young buick Gmc in layton. Thanks More
We've been customers of Young since 1996 when we bought a 2 door GMC Jimmy (we put over 250,000 miles before the vehicle was handed off to our son, who put at least another 50,000 miles on it!) We have had 2 door GMC Jimmy (we put over 250,000 miles before the vehicle was handed off to our son, who put at least another 50,000 miles on it!) We have had the service department work on most of our vehicles since. (Pontiac Fiero, motorhome, Chevy HHR, GMC Yukon,and a GMC Savanah van. We've also had Xtreme work on our Jeep and our van. We have been total pleased with the "friendliness", pricing and quality of every dealing we have had with Young GMC. We are located approx 40 miles away, and continue to make the trip for all service! We will continue to sing praises about the company and it's employees! Kirby Kirkman More

Many, many years ago we had a bad experience with this service department.I vowed never to go back, Jake convinced me to try again and glad I did. Last year I purchased a 05 Chevy Colorado from Young GMC. The salesman helping me was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and listened to what I was looking for in a truck. Jake walked me through the entire process from start to finish and got me the best deal possible that I could afford since I'm a broke college student for now. I have been back to the dealership several times since them for service and maintence for my truck and have been treated with respect and kindness from all of the staff members there. They offer great incentives to their customers and are more then willing to go the extra mile. If I am still living near this area when it comes time to buy another car or truck, the Young GMC dealership is where I'll be going. More

I purchase a 2011 GMC Terrain and can I just say WOW…. Darek was so patient with me he helped me pick out the colors and options I wanted for my new car and then kept me updated on the delivery date. Car Buying experience at it's best! This is our 2nd car in just over a year that we have purchased at this dealership and we highly recommend it!! We needed a highly dependable car for our son to take to c in just over a year that we have purchased at this dealership and we highly recommend it!! We needed a highly dependable car for our son to take to college at a great price and Young Buick GMC made it happen. Our son is thrilled and I can still afford tuition! What has impressed me the most, however, has been the customer service I have received AFTER my purchase. On several occasions, Jake (my salesman) has called me to make sure that I don't have any questions and that I understand all of my car's features. I feel that Young Buick GMC is committed to a long-term relationship with their customers. Because of the level of service I received, and continue to receive, I would be happy to purchase from Young Buick GMC again. More
