Do not stand by their word This is the second bad experience I have had with Young Subaru, needless to say I will not be giving them business ever again. I recently sold them my 2014 WRX and after calling 2 times and 2 weeks later I have still not received a check for my car. They have had my car in their possession for 2 weeks now and I have yet to be paid in full for our agreed upon price. I have called the dealership twice, the first time they told me they mailed the check, the second time 4 days later they said they had not yet mailed it. For me to still have a check for my car 2 weeks later is absolutely ridiculous. My first poor experience with them was in 2012 involving their finance department as well. I will make sure that none of my family or friends give them any business. More

A few months ago my son and his wife purchased a late model used Subaru (which is now Young Subaru) from their used car department,the vehicle appeared to be what they were looking for as a result of the information they were given from the management .They paid premium price for the vehicle including so called extra protection programs that were recommended to them so that when they decided to upgrade to a newer model down the road the car would hold it’s value much better.After driving the vehicle for a few weeks they begun to realize that the vehicle had a major unresolvable performance issue(which the dealer admitted to),and had possibly had been in some sort of accident,they decided to see what the dealer would do to remedy this. They went in and talked with a manager, Justin, and he told them to give it a week and if they were still unhappy that they would make the situation right. That if they brought the vehicle back they’d only be out more money if they chose to buy a more expensive vehicle. After a week, they decided to trade the car for a similar vehicle(another Subaru) of similar value,the dealer once again tried to make another outrageous profit on the sale rather than make right on the prior sale,so now they are upside down big time on a vehicle that was misrepresented when sold to them. When they were in the dealership to do this transaction, the original manager they spoke to, Justin, wouldn’t come out from the managers’ office. He left another manager to be in charge of the transaction. What a depressing,expensive experience,I guess we will be heading south to Mark Miller for future Subaru purchases. They seem to be much more about the relationship, as well as having many more other options to choose from. Youngs new sale policy appears to be quick, excessive profits rather than long term relations with their long term loyal customers More

Even if I buy a car I typically leave so pissed off that I have vivid fantasies of spartan kicking my salesman into a black pit. Nothing could have been farther from the case dealing with Greg Barber and Young Subaru. I came in armed to the teeth with months of research. I new exactly what car I wanted and exactly how much I should be paying, and I was just waiting for someone to try the old "these aren't the droids you're looking for," jedi mind trick so I could promptly force choke them through a window. That in mind, I was dumbfounded when Greg's first offer was actually a really good deal. At no point in time was I uncomfortable or did I feel like I was being forced into some terrible deal. Greg was a gentleman and a scholar. A salesman of the people. Just a nice and honest guy. Thank you for making something that is usually terrible an excellent experience. More
Service manager Nathan is an ACE!! I have been taking cars (Subaru's and one other) to Young Subaru since they have been in business there. Most of that time I have worked with Nathan and he is absolutley honest, fair, and very knowledgeable! He is a real ACE! He has watched over my cars with the skill of a master of his profession! He is my "Go To" man!. More

I truly believe it is rare to find someone in this profession that will not try to SELL you something you do not need, but rather take care of what is only necessary. This is why I not only bring in my 2011 Subaru Legacy, but now I bring my mothers 2004 Hyundai in for service. It is hard to find someone that I trust in your profession, but i can safely say that I have now. I will always return to the Riverdale location for any service needed and I will always recommend any body who asks me to give Nathan a call first. Because of his service, I will only be going to this location when I trade in my car for a new Outback. Thanks Nathan, I know I can trust you. Justin Butler More

Service & honesty like this is rare I was recently in a predicament where I truly needed custom help to get my Subaru towed, inspected, and repaired quickly. I called the local dealer sh I was recently in a predicament where I truly needed custom help to get my Subaru towed, inspected, and repaired quickly. I called the local dealer ship (Young Subaru in Riverdale, UT) in a panic and explained my situation, dead vehicle, 3 young kids in tow, away from home, desperate schedule, wife could not leave her work at the hospital to help. Nathan Kester was super friendly, helped me think through the situation by presenting options I never expected a dealership would have. Nathan took care of my immediate needs by setting me up with a complimentary emergency rental vehicle, and told me he would call me with a report on my vehicle condition later that night. True to his word, he called later after I was home and could think things through. I was prepared for the worst, "$5K in repair" or "We recommend you trade this dead car for a good deal, etc". Instead, they surprised me with their transparency, their diagnosis & repair was inexpensive when they could have easily gouged me as I was clueless and at their mercy, but they gave me several affordable options, and still repaired my Outback for way less than I anticipated. Service and honesty like this are rare, this is how customer loyalty is earned. Guaranteed I'll be back. Mark More
