Very Pleased I wasn't going to buy a car yet, but the Ford Escape at the Lewes Auto Mall had everything on it I wanted and the price was too good to pass up! Dealing with Dennis was a pleasure - no high pressure, no diddling around, just the basic bottom price and we were sold! There is one little glitch I found and I am confident when I take the car in, it will be taken care of. We have taken our cars here to be serviced since we moved to Lewes and see no reason to change. This time, visiting our second home in Rehobot As full time residents of Baltimore County we routinely purchase cars / trucks from local dealerships. This time, visiting our second home in Rehoboth, we stopped by the Lewes dealership and saw a fabulous truck over Memorial Day weekend. Much to our dismay, the dealership was closed so we took down the information and returned to Baltimore to work with our long time dealership on a "deal". At the same time, we thought we should check with the foks at Lewes just in case they could do a little better. Our experience with your dealership was nothing short of extraordinary! Not only did we get a great deal, one worth the 120+ mile drive to pick up the truck but the customer service was exceptional. The people that we worked with were knowledgeable and responsive and, most importantly, sincerely interested in our business. They went out of their way to get us every rebate and discount to which we were entitled and took steps to meet our busy schedules to get the truck to us as quickly as possible. My husband and I both have already recommended your dealership to our friends who may, in the near future, be in the market for a vehicle. Best buying experience I recently purchased my third vehicle from Lewes Auto in the past 3 years. Obviously they are doing something right! The friendly no pressure and helpful approach is much appriciated. My Sales person Dana Cerra truly cares and has my best interest in mind at all time. He is very knowledgeable of all the brands, which is extreamly helpful for me as I am making my decision. He has given me his personal phone number to use at any time I felt the need for any help or information. I have actually called him at different times, including weekends and days he is off. He either answers or returns my calls promptly. He takes both the buying and owning experience to a new level. He stays in contact with me checking on my experience with my vehicles and always offers help and support if ever needed. Thank You Lewes Auto you are a different dealership. Keep the customer #1. Inconsiderate of your time! I saw a vehicle that i was interested in. I instant chatted with Mark then emailed with him. Set an appointment for 10:30am. Told him had to take the ferry to them (which set me back $88). Confirmed vehicle was available the night before I left from North Jersey. I was told to ask for the used car manager and that the car would be in front when I pulled up. I got am email from the dealership at 7:55am confirming my appointment that morning. We got there at 10:15am. The vehicle was in front. But it had temporary tags on it. Spoke with another sales man who said he would help us. He said the vehicle sold about 20mins earlier. That I could understand but the tags would not have been dated the day before! He then said it must have been sold the night before. And that again I can understand. What I can't understand is why I wasn't notified that night or the next morning. Then this salesman tried to sell me another vehicle on their lot that had more milage and was $6000 more! Did they try to bait and switch me? I'll make it easy for you, stay away!! More
