Best prices and best selection. - edukehtoer
My wife and I shopped for a trailer for over three years. I went on a lot of lots and even more websites looking for a trailer that was compatible with my Tacoma. We looked at major and small dealers all across the country. We kept coming back to Best RV because the prices were so much lower than other dealers. It helped that they had a trailer brand that was very well-built and light.
This dealership lists no haggle prices. I like that because I hate playing games in negotiations. The sellers always better at it than the customer. Also they don't charge a PDI. I've seen PDI fees as high as $1500. And some dealers have even other kinds of add-ons. In my research I found Best's prices to be at least 15% below the lowest prices you can find anywhere else (adjusted for delivery fee). I paid the listed price of the trailer plus a small fee to put on two batteries. That was it.
The people I encountered there, my salesman, the owner (who was on site every day working with customers and staff) and the service personnel were friendly, competent and honest. After hearing some pretty tall tales at other dealers this was very much appreciated.
If you've had a trailer before you know that there's a million little things that can go wrong and some of them always do. You fix the ones you can buy yourself and only call service if it's something that's beyond your skill set. I was very happy that when an issue arose the Best service department jumped right on it and I was able to take it in the next day. They fixed it while I waited and within a few hours I was back on the road.
If they have what you're looking for and you're on this side of the Continental Divide there's nowhere else you're going to get a better price. Their service department is just as good as anybody else's and better than most.
New RV Purchase - Transitguy
Went in just to look and ended up buying but there was no pressure there was no pressure during the entire process. The sales staff was very accommodating and patient with us as first time buyers and answered all of our questions both during the purchase and after. Mark was the best!
Why I drive over 500 miles to do business with Conejo - Palazzo lover
We found Conejo RV after visiting our son and family in Irvine. They reasons below are why I would only do business with Conejo even though I could trade at my home city Reno, NV. We purchased our second coach from Conejo August 1, 2019
1. One need not worry about being attacked by sales people. When you have a question feel free to walk into the office where anyone and everyone will be able to answer questions or find what you are looking for.
2. No haggle pricing, the price is the price.
3. Professional business ethics.
4. Down to earth sales people, no sunglasses
5. They offer a 1000 miles or 45 day warranty. After two weeks, we were past the mileage by 200 miles. They still honored the warranty.
6. They have years of experience together and a very cohesive team from sales to mechanics. When you leave the lot everything works.
7. The walk through explanation of features etc is spot on.
8. The owner is hands on and well respected by all the employees I spoke with

Bad Service - Stealth Daze
I purchased a brand new toy hauler from Happy Daze Rv. in Sacramento back in last December. I just got back from a trip to Oregon and noticed that I was missing a roof vent, when I went up top I realized that they have all turned itnto a brittle type of plastic and show cracks throughout all four 3 that are left and of course the missing one is gone all the way. All I want is for these people to do is be fair to me . They said to me that they were booked solid for three months on repairs. I told them that I think it’s a serious issue do to the elements getting in as we approach fall. They told me that they may be able to get me in sooner yet I still have heard no reply back.
Liars and cheaters - Donnie
I bought a used key stone fusion toy hauler from happy days rv Sacramento about 12 months ago. It had a inclosure for the tail gate when I bought it , when I picked it up it was gone mark at pick promise me he would take care of it, Ronnie the manager just called me a liar and refused to replace it. I will never do business with them again and I advise everyone the same!!
Terrible purchase experience and lack of service - Jessica
My purchase experience here was so bad I thought it had to be for one of those candid camera shows where they try to make customers freak out.
These guys pulled my credit for a loan application without my permission (I made an all cash purchase) forgot about installing a hitch, kept me in the dealership for over eight hours on pickup day, lied repeatedly and didn't do most of the technician inspection I paid something like $1300 for.
After finally getting the brand new fifth wheel home, problems began piling up. It flooded due to a drain pipe never being connected at the factory, the wall melted the first time I used the stove, the water heater quit working, and the list goes on and on. They ignored my calls for weeks and told me that the warranty salesman who told me I could get mobile warranty service at my location had lied.
Months have gone by and some of these problems have still not been addressed. Each time I call to follow up on parts it take 5 to 10 calls to get a reply and then I'm told they didn't even know they were supposed to order parts. It's just ridiculous at this point.
Stay away from dealer, especially the service department - DVan
We purchased from dealer in 1974, they were fine. This purchase in 2018 is the worst RV we have ever owned (we have owned several in between). The coach has been a continuous string of malfunctions and annoyances. Most service (when you could get them to do it) was either incomplete, damaging to the vehicle or poorly done.
Some service examples:
There were 5 or 6 after sale service visits. At a couple of the visits they did not have the parts, but did not tell me ahead of time, even though we had to come in from out of town
They installed a Convection/Microwave, but the lights did not work until I fixed them.
They replaced the arms on the awing, but broke off whatever they used to keep the awing from unrolling. This required work to get the piece out when we needed to work on the awing later. They also managed to get silicone sealer, on the side of the coach, around the arms 6" from the arm.
They adjusted a compartment door, but the door closed only twice before it malfunctioned and now the hinge is loose.
They never did address the rattling and banging in the sidewall (by the slide), or the noise in the dash board.
The coach was out of alignment and the outside edges were worn off the front tires. They replaced 1 of the tires and hid the other front tire inside on the rear. They aligned the front end, but the steering wheel was 3 to 5 degrees off afterwards.
Bait & Switch - C.Turner
I found an online ad for a clean used Sonoma travel trailer that was a trade-in at the Richardson RV Colton dealership. The price listed was $14,999, I called the dealership and spoke to a sales representative who confirmed both availability and price. I was told they priced the trailer at $14,999 because it was not a brand they typically carry so they are "trying to blow it out".
Once I came back from my credit union with the loan approval information, the sales team changed the price to $19,990 and said they mistakenly priced the trailer at $14,999.
I explained that they had already confirmed the price & availability earlier, but both the sales rep and sales manager said they would not honor the price advertised. All they could say was that "mistakes happen, oh well". Even thou I was Incredibly upset by their lack of integrity, the next day I decided the trailer was the one I wanted so I offered to spilt the difference between their advertised price and their "new" price, was offer was Not even responded to.
Between the bait & switch tactic and their lack of interest in correcting the situation, I will never buy a trailer from Richardson RV and I will tell every one of my camping friends not to buy one as well.
Warning: get everything in writing, don't take anyone's word for it as they do not stand behind their claims.W
Very helpful upfront, terrible after sale. - Rodgers-Vey
They were very friendly and helpful upfront before the sale. Not so much after. Even worse a year later when I sold the vehicle and needed a refund on my extended RV repair warranty. I'm still fighting to try and get my refund 6 months later.
very poor service and repair - harry
New Lance trailer, returned for small warranty repairs- needed new thermostat (2nd request), and automatic awning adjusted, decal on door repaired. 8 weeks later, I got the new thermostat, had them mail the new decal to me (sent the wrong one) and wound up repairing the awning myself. had to make an appointment one month out to just have it looked at. Started the process in December, dropped it off in January, finally took it back in March.
