I’ve been coming here for service since about 2010 with my 2008 Jetta. I had an amazing experience with Fred in service recently. Fred worked super hard to make sure I was able to get my service and have transportation, both getting me an immediate ride to where I needed to be and securing a rental later in the day. Fred is personable, funny and explains every thing in a easy to understand way. The tech that worked on my car (I think his name was Scott) was amazing and definitely made me feel like he paid personal attention to my car. It’s not always fun to have to take your car in for service, especially if it’s older since you never know what else they will find. This excellent example of service is why I will continue to come back to Capo VW as long as I or anyone in my family owns a VW.

I have a 2004 Touareg...It was a few months out of warranty and the drive shaft needed replacing....It was going to be about $1200.00....Jesse called VW on my behalf, and I didn't have to pay anything...I was literally shocked..I thought maybe they'd give me a few hunderd off, but Jesse told care of it all since I'm a good customer and have gone to Cardinale many times....Thank you Jesse!!!!!!

Both of my key fobs died today and when I got to the dealership Greg Hayes was there to save the day! He was amazing, we were in and out within minutes. Billy at the parts counter was able to find the last available battery for my key fob and we were set to go! They were both super nice, friendly and helpful. I didn't buy a car today but I'm going to Greg Hayes when I'm ready to upgrade my VW.

Decided to go look at the Audi Q7 and see if it was the car we would need for our family. Wow! Love our new car! Syed Ali is a wonderful salesman great working with someone who really loves his job and very personable, knows the Audi cars and took us through the transaction with ease!! Go see him you will not be disappointed. Thanks for all you did to get our new beautiful Q7! We are so happy!!

Poor Customer Service - Stan

My husband and I have received terrible customer service from Chico VW. After a horrible fuel leak in December with our 2015 VWGolf, we called to have our car towed in to be looked at. We were told to go elsewhere as they didn't want to look at our car, even though we have evidence that they are the only ones who have taken the back seat off our car to replace the fuel pump, which had a recall. They said it had been too long for a problem to have occurred. The Service Manager would not help us, because he thought someone else could have "done something" to our car. Not only did this issue happen, but previous rude comments during times of trying to figure out coolant leaks, and shift by wire module replacement, we were told we most likely spilled coffee on the shift area or didn't understand the coolant system. My husband is a retired Heavy Equipment Mechanic and we take care of our vehicles. I could not recommend this Dealership as their Service Center is rude and unethical.

Service history on my new beetle in this dealer: $800 to fix airbag indicator yellow light. The light came back two weeks later and it was not under the work warrant because it was not the same problem. $500 to replace transmission seal but still see slow leaking one month after the repair work. More scatches on dash covers , steer wheel and door panels after each oil change (new interior became worn interior after oil changes). Oil level extremely low (no oil on dip stick) one week after oil change at one time. After an oil change, radio (both AM and FM) recieves no signal and make very load noise. Service advisor comment: It is normal for VW in this area, Escondido, CA. Somehow, It gets signal again four years later after a battery change in Murriata VW dealer, CA.
