They sell cars which are structurally damaged & buy them in auction. They also manipulate carfax. Also they don't pay sales tax to county so you receive phones for tax payment

Stay far away! Sales manager Steve is as shady as they come. He blatantly lied to me. Had me waste many hours of time and a ton of unnecessary miles on my car. Liar through and through!!! Good salesperson but terrible manager support!!!

We purchased a used minivan from this dealerships Lake in the Hills location in 1/2008. This was a last resort as I had poor credit and was unable to secure any type of normal financing from a loan company. The purchase price of the vehicle was good, 8000.00 and I have not had any problems with the vehicle itself. The 1st issue I have is that I have in house financing with him or buy here pay here at a rate of 29% Interest. Then I never rcvd my license plates in the alloted time frame. I was pulled over by an officer for having expired temp plates and when I told him that the dealer would not return my phone calls he told me to contact the Secretary of State Police. I did this and they tols me this was not the 1st time this dealer had been reported for the same thing, that he had several other complaints. The SOS police was able to get my plates for me. The next problem I have is that we went over my home address many times and they still proceeeded to get it wrong even after they supposedly "fixed" it on their paperwork. The location which I purchased the vehicle from closed down. My checks that I was sending there were not being cashed for long periods of time. After trying several telephone #'s to reach him, he told me they had closed that location and to send the checks to Belvidere. Then that location closed as well as a Garden Prairie loaction and I was told to send the checks to Genoa, well guess what? Again I was having a problem of checks not being cashed and when I was able to get ahold of someone he said that the Genoa location had been closed for a year! WHAT THE xxxx!!!! Now, he has a location in Loves Park, which is where I am now supposed to send my checks. My loan should be paid off in 1/2012 if he is keeping accurate records which I highly doubt he is, as I have never rcvd a receipt of any payment from him or a balance statement. I want to trade my vehicle off in the winter but am afraid I will never see the title or he will try to pull some crap that I still owe more money. I looked up the business on the internet and it said he had filed ofr bankruptcy in 2009. He also had his dealer;s license takien away from him for failure to transfer certificates of title to customers within the appropriate amount of time on 74 occasions. Can anyone say crook and phoney??? Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience with this dealer?

STAY AWAY - BAD NEWS - CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR - SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY THE STATE I was interested in a Range Rover. Moe Barakat, my sales person, demanded a deposit before he would send me any additional photos. When he sent the pictures they were very poor quality which lead me to believe he was trying to deceive me regarding the condition of the vehicle. I immediately replied to his email requesting that he refund my $1000 deposit (so far all during the same day). He never replied and did not refund my deposit. I called several times over the next week and finally spoke to Jason Larson. He apologized and said that he would take care of it. I sent him a follow-up email. He never replied and my credit card was not refunded. So far I'm three weeks in and can not get ANYONE at the dealership to refund my deposit, or much less return an email or phone call. I've disputed the transaction with American Express since Luxury Motors will not refund the card. I have dealt with several other dealerships that have similar sales volumes. They do not have ANY complaints of this nature. This is why Luxury Motors DOES NOT DO BUSINESS ON EBAY because they would not be able to survive the feedback rating system. Don't believe the PLANTED positive feedback. These guys should be put out of business.

Great transactions. They are a dealership (I did look them up with the state and they are registered) Maybe it's cheaper to have that location than a very large lot with major overhead. Looked like an office park to me, definitely not a garage like the other reviewer said. I will say, at least the good cars (plus the one I purchased - Mercedes) was kept inside. I think they have 3 storage areas in that complex. But anyway, the owner, Chris, met up with me on a Saturday and we finished the paperwork in less than an hour (after my test drive and inspection of course). I highly recommend them. In fact, my wife was looking for a particular vehicle and Chris happened to track one down and get it in 2 weeks later. Been 6 months now (wanted to make sure they both were still running before giving my feedback..haha). Overall, I'd shop with they again.
