Full of lies. - Mike

Full of lies. First my oil change emptied half or more of the oil on my new concrete when I returned home, then they told me the oil filter gasket was bad..funny there was no oil on the filter. Oil leak was on opposite side. An employee promised to come and clean the concrete today..the day is half over, not a word. They won't see me again.

My current review on their google pg Do not get - Roberta KolarGreen

My current review on their google pg Do not get service done there. We had our truck towed there over 2 weeks ago due to possible transmission problem, hasn't even been looked at and wasnt given a loaner while they take their sweet time so we are struggling with only 1 vehicle while they xx. Dont waste your time....and we bought it there....you would think the service would be better Update : It has now been 6 weeks and no the team never reached out, we have to call them. Our truck was supposed to be ready for pick up yesterday, now they say possibly tomorrow...still no loner vehicle while they want almost $10,000 to fix it.

Do NOT buy anything from Baker Lowell Buick gmc. - Mikegalan7

Do NOT buy anything from Baker Lowell Buick gmc. They are flat out liars and scammers. They sold me a “new” truck which they crashed and fixed in their body shop and did not report to car fax. When I got home plastics were hanging off wheele well due to improper repairs made by them! Which they did not disclose to me! Never told me it was in an accident. When I asked about it they said they don’t have to disclose repairs under 10% of msrp. When I told them I don’t want the truck anymore and I’m bringing it back they said I can’t do that because I already signed the paper work. Only when I mentioned I’m calling my lawyer the next day they decide they want to take there shotty repaired truck back. What a rip off don’t trust these guys. The manger didn't even have the decency to come out of his office to say anything when I asked for him multiple times. These people should not be in buisness. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! They replaced the whole bedside of my “brand new” truck did a sloppy job repainting it everything under the truck was Covored in white paint. Tail light did not sit in place properly and bare metal was left exposed on the truck to rust away! These people showed no remorse & should be ashamed of themselves. I feel bad for whoever is buying the truck I returned.

If they had a negative star, I would be more than happy... - vrj003

If they had a negative star, I would be more than happy to give it. After my husband and his whole family purchasing from them for decades, they attempted to rip me off for over $4000.00. My husband, recently deceased, had a lease from them. I needed to return it. They offered $2000.00 on a trade in. Come to find out through Shea Chevrolet, downstate, I had $6500.00 equity in the vehicle. Well, guess where I went? And yes, I am spreading the word on Wheelers. Why would people you know treat you that way? :(

We were in Alpena from Houghton for a hockey tournament - Jammelsch

We were in Alpena from Houghton for a hockey tournament and our side blind zone alert system malfunctioned, which also affected the locks, airbags, and key fob. Worried about getting home, we brought it here and they quickly diagnosed the problem. Even though they couldn’t do the complete repair to replace the modules, they did a quick fix (unplugged the defective module) in under an hour for under $50. I can’t say enough how helpful and knowledgeable the service manager Steve Bruski was! Bruski deserves a brewski! I highly recommend getting service or buying a vehicle here.

They charged me way over book of the vehicle I purchased - Pinkerbelle

They charged me way over book of the vehicle I purchased , I spent 4K over book value ... they won't negotiate ...: telling you "we are honest and give the best deal everytime" They gave me this "we owe" list of things needing to be done , the service shop I have no issues with . It's the sales department, in fact when I told them how disappointed I was in this large purchase they , they didn't respond. I sent the screen shot to the manager Nikki of the book price and explained how upset I was spending way over book for a suv with all these issues, I asked if I could return it or remedy and they wouldn't respond . The salesperson Brandee was condescending and rude after sale not helpful at all , yet before sale assured they want complete satisfaction of sale and was acting like a friend (clearly all a sales tactic)... hmm she was juggling two sales while selling to us So sure they can hustle a sale , but what your being sold is likely overpriced or in my case overpriced over 4K over book ?! Didn't think that was legal to swindle that way?! I will be checking into that since they aren't responding to my email inquiries to Niki It's been in and out of the shop. I've bought many vehicles in my life from dealerships and I can say this by far is the worst for a sales experience and management gives zero response if your unhappy or ask for some things to be remedied Never again and I wouldn't recommend them , they treat you nice until they sell you a overpriced car (in my case) and wash their hands of you with issues . I should have done more homework on the purchase but I didn't think they were taking me for such a ride on this ... I am truly sickened they would go so high over kbb value on a suv that in no way can be resold for that .. they took me for a fool and I guess it's shame on me for that please again as we asked from day 3 buy it back .... it has 30 miles since I bought it , buy it back to show you stand for your customers and their satisfaction instead of having them pay $$$$$$ for a lemon

My salesman John Shell was wonderful. - Denise Walker

My salesman John Shell was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and assisted me with buying out my 2023 Buick Envision Avenir lease and also with acquiring a new lease on a Buick Envision 2026 Sport Touring (xx) AWD vehicle. I will highly recommend John Shell and xx. Clair LaFontaine to my friends and family. I will be back to Lafontaine in three years for a new lease and ask for John Shell.
